Crowley was excited to see the angel's world. He missed the smell of the old bookshop and thumbing through the old tomes when Aziraphale wasn't looking.

"I'll behave, Angel."

Under other circumstances, Aziraphale would say that was doubtful, but he'd take Crowley at his word this time. Mostly because he had no other choice.

There was a moment's hesitation, then he leaned in to give Crowley a quick kiss. Well. He'd intended on it being a quick kiss, but it lasted a bit longer than he'd originally planned.

"All right," he said when he pulled back. "Let's go."

He closed his eyes, thought of his bookshop, and then opened them again as they were suddenly there. Tension radiated from him as he waited, as if he expected them to be attacked at any moment. (Which, well. He did.)

He intended on behaving himself. In fact he was managing to reign in even his aura as much as possible.

Crowley pulled the angel in for a deeply loving kiss once they arrived in the shop. The smell was overwhelmingly wonderful. Dust and paper and a little bit of mildew. It was just as he remembered.

When he pulled away, Crowley looked around the bookshop. He walked down an aisle, fingering the spines of books carefully.

"Perfect. It's just---" He paused at a book that looked entirely unfamiliar. He pulled it off the shelf. "Is this a kid's book?"

Aziraphale kissed him back, not entirely focused on the kiss. He was shielding his own aura the slightest bit less than he usually did, in the vague hope that it would somehow hide the small increase in demonic aura. Or possibly just intimidate away anyone who was looking in on the place. Not that Aziraphale was generally particularly intimidating. Perhaps he should physically carry his sword about while Crowley was here.

He watched Crowley closely, following after him when he went down an aisle. He wasn't planning on letting him very far out of his sight. Out of his sight at all, as a matter of fact.

"Ah. Yes. Adam's work, actually. He put the world back exactly as it had been before; apparently that included attempting to restore what the things we had lost in the process. He had more success with the 'exact' part with your car."
