Characters: Duo Maxwell (d2) and Heero Yuy (d1)
Location: Duo's reality.
Time:After they finished their OZ base demolition tour, and approximately three days after Duo first arrived from his reality in time.
Summary: The battle is finally underway against Romefeller's Brussels Military Base.
Warnings: Violence, war, and possible NPC death.
The ground quaked as the fifth explosive shell detonated from inside the Romefeller Mobile Suit Plant and Military deployment facility main building and main mobile suit launching docks. The sirens rose in volume to fill the air as the green coated Specials scrambled to get into the mobile suit docks. Could they launch the mobile suits? What about the Virgos? Shouting and orders were thrown about, but at first, nothing was happening. Where was the enemy? Soldiers who weren't docking were looking out onto the base port, into the setting sun in bewilderment.
After all, these were the first legitimate enemy attacks in nearly six years.
Then they saw it. A black blur appearing out of nowhere from the darkening sky, and a blazing green energy streaking down towards them. It struck two Aries in the air, then down to the mobile suit factory doors. He had gotten close. Too close.
Close enough that it they didn't get back up, this base was going down in no time at all.
And Duo wouldn't have it any way. He would weaken the defenses, allowing Heero to strike the finishing blow from the air in Wing Zero.
But first there was that nasty Beam Canon to locate and take out. As Duo fired upon Leos, he was scanning for the canon duct. If they got a direct shot on him, he may a well call it quits. Even with the Active Cloak.
