Summary: Emil and Marta are yanked through multiple universes until they find each other again. It's like a scavenger hunt of ♥~love~♥.

It was time to move to Mizuho. They'd dallied long enough on the Plane, and there was only so much procrastination they could do before things began to get out of hand. Emil was slightly on edge after dealing with Aster and Richter, not to mention their current status as fugitives, but what could they do? Nothing yet. He walked closer to Marta than was necessary, but he wanted to make her feel better about the situation. They'd made some good memories recently to dull the bad, which was something... even if he had a headache afterward. Something warm and fuzzy jerked him out of his thoughts. A black kitten stuck its head out of his scarf, stringy tail flicking across Emil's face. "H-hey, stop that!" the swordsman protested halfheartedly.
Marta had to giggle at the sight. Her own little orange kitten was curled up in her arms, keeping surprisingly still as it enjoyed the passing scenery. She gave it a pat on the head, though her attention was on Emil, of course. "Maybe it's too warm in there," she guessed, not entirely serious.
Emil sighed. "But he likes to sleep in it..." He'd decided a while ago that Lucky enjoyed doing things just to annoy him, but the kitten was usually affectionate-- and really, really hated being separated from Marta and Fluffy. Emil reached up and gently plucked the kitten from his scarf, though it took a few tries since Lucky had claws and enjoyed clinging to everything. "You want to see Marta, little guy?"
Marta grinned. It would be a challenge to keep hold of both of them, surely, but she knew the kittens enjoyed curling up together. Why keep them separate? "Okay!"
She reached for Lucky --
-- and the next instant, she was gone.
"Marta?" Emil didn't understand. One minute she was there, and the other... she'd completely disappeared. Tenebrae hadn't noticed just yet, so he figured she popped onto the Plane. However, as he felt that familiar pull, something else reached out and yanked him in another direction. He wrapped his arms around the kitten in a panic as he tumbled and stumbled into a place that was decidedly not the Plane. "Marta--aaaaaah!!"
