So the onsen itself is a lot like the one from Spirited Away, which, if you haven't seen it, you need to. But luckily, there are four images below that will let you know what the basic things look like. You are welcome to elaborate and make stuff up, though. Like, for example, there are also outdoor baths, but the indoor ones have fancy mineral waters that are good for your health.

Now for the rooms themselves! The outdoor baths are on the first and top floor. In between, it alternates between rooms and other floors. So the second floor is rooms, third is indoor baths, fourth is rooms, fifth is dining, and that cycle repeats until you get to the top floor. Well, except the 13th floor, but you can't go in there. For the room floors, there are eight rooms per floor, and the green on the maps is a wrap-around porch that looks like this. But all the porches are connected, just so you know. It's also possible to jump from the porches into a bath if you're crazy. There are walls in between each room, but they're thin walls.
