1.) Marvelous, Captain/Gokai Red. Marv...oh where to go with this guy. I prolly shouldn't have started with him but I wanted to make it showy. Marv's arrogant and cheeky, but oh so driven to protect his team. Just the right amout of attitude matched with his "i don't care yet I secretly care about all of you" vibe. He in fact reminds me of a similarly red character from Den-O who may or may not make this meme.
2.) Madsen, Rebecca. Madsen's just so persistent and bad ass that you can't help but root for her and want her to get the mystery solved. But at the same time she has a depth to her. She loves to eat, she cares about her partner and just exudes this " I can and Will finish this so don't fuck with me" vibe when she's working...Oh I could go on forever about that one , but I so hope they bring her back okay from the finale of the show.
3.) Morph. Okay yes this could be about the comic version but this is instead the cartoon one. I always felt for Morph as a character in the cartoon. Here was this guy who was in many ways the heart of the team. He got along with pretty much everyone and then BOOM Dead! Not so much as backstory. However you get a great reveal with him later on in theseries with Sinister, he shows up again trying to do right in his own ep. Sadly Morph just can't make it work fully :( But he tries so much. Gotta love the guy. Also bonus because of the fact that his character is based on a one off character called changeling ( not to be confused with beast boy from DC)
4.) Martha Jones. Oh Martha, Granted she fell in love with the doctor ( such seemed to be the fate of many a new who companion....except Donna XD) but she still did all that she could to prove herself. I think Martha's best moments are in the episodes Human Nature/Family of Blood and the Master Trilogy ( Utopia, Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords) That isn't to say that Martha didn't have other moments ( hell she had her own book about what she did during her time between sound of drums and last of the time lords) but I think that those are her obvious ones. I feel like Martha doesn't get enough love in the fandom, but hey she still kicks butt.
5.) Mon-El/ Lar Gand of Daxam. Here's a character through a case of mistaken identity is beleived to be "superboys bigger brother." While Mon could have easily been a throw away character, or just simply a superman analogue, he became so much more than that. I think that writers like the Beirbaums ( sp?) and the creative team on the Valor series( same guy diff name) as well as the pre 3boot/pre new 52 legion teams have done a great job expanding upon his character. They took this kid who was forced to wait 1,000 years in the phantom zone ( the limbo prison type place for kryptonian criminals if you dont' know) and instead of him being fine after, they created real depth and issues for him. I'm not saying that he has to have depth and issues, but I'm saying that it worked. James Robinson did similarly with the character as well.

Magneto ( obvious Jewish mutant epic for epic reasons) Momotaros ( Hot headed Red Imagin from Den - O who could easily with no trace of it posesses Marv and no one would be the wiser) Mimc ( from the exiles, but in general) sort of like if Rogue where a guy, but years before Rogue). Calvin's got his own thing going on...I may do this meme again with more characters. Hell I forgot Matter Eater Lad! and Mikaal Tomas!!..Okay doing a part 2 later )
