It's awesome you got to travel to so many places! I really love Hokkaido too but I've only been there for the Yuki Matsuri in Feb. I'd so so love to see it in summer :D Shiroi Kobito factory is so strange and lovely with its pseudo-European something going on <3
Tonight I had rosemary ice cream! I love herb-y and non-traditional ice cream flavors.
Move to Osaka gurrl! I'm always in favor of change and you've always known more about Osaka than many Kansaijin (like me...).
Yeah, I was pretty adamant about going to Furano after Kate told me about it, and Noboribetsu was a MUST SEE after I discovered the onsen there and remembered that my friend lived there! Hokkaido is probably my new favorite place--sorry, Shikoku. You will always be my first love.
I am thinking about Hokkaido shenanigans for the Yuki Matsuri this year, and may in fact return to Shiroi Koibito if I do. Because it was just so lovely! I don't think I could resist it.
Ooooo, Rosemary! That sounds so tasty. :) Where did you get it? My favorite party about travel in Japan is seeing what kinds of strange Ice Creams I can eat, some are good and some are awful. Like Corn gelato, but that was my own dumb fault. XD
We'll see what happens. :) If my job will transfer me AND allow me to work with the older kids, then that is what I want. But if they'll move me to work with hte older students in Nagoya, I may in fact stay here. It just depends on which will give me what I want.
I'm actually not in Japan now! I'm visiting the US until the end of Sept :D I'm from Miami but currently in North Carolina visiting Izzy's sister up here. The food in NC is sooo tasty!
Hokkaidoooo~! I wanno go there with my KateKate!! We will eat our combined weights in cheese and wine and be HAPPY.
Oddly, those reasons are a small part of my desire. Also, I miss my homeland. And SPA WORLD EVERY WEEKEND YES. Okay probably not REALLY but a girl can dream~
I found the quill on day 2 . . . from what I've seen of others though, they found the quill after me and were let in before. So it really does seem quite random. I am NOT going to spoil it at all, but it's lovely and worth the wait. I know you will love it!
Yay Ravenclaw indeed! I don't understand why, but it does fir me. Unexpected for me, but I've come to really like it. 8D
There was a special lottery in July for people to answer a question and get a chance to go in early. The beta is fun but buggy, as it is obviously a beta and that is the way of betas! But yeah, you'll have to wait to October when they open it to the public at large.
I've been so busy that all I've had time for are little FB snippits! But I have interesting plans for the next year, so we'll see what happens--might be posting about that here soon. :) I am pretty determined to do a few very big things for me, so we shall see.
I am not going to enter my thirties quietly if I can help it.

I would love for you to be in Osaka for entirely selfish reasons :P

I'm glad to know that things are going well for you in Japan! It's nice to have a big write-up to read instead of snippets on FB. :-)
