I like myself way better when I was idealistic and didn't have to be a grown-up.
You are still silly and idealistic, D. You're one of the ones that will never 'grow up'. At least not entirely. And in a good way.
And I know that the corporate world isn't your bag. But I'm glad that I can say, for sure, that there's at least one man in the corporate world that has the brains and the mindset to not fuck it up, to not abuse it, to not become what you (and me, and everyone else) hates about the corporate world.
i think the reality of the adult live is just hitting you. i don't wanna be an adult, either. sucks sucks sucks. but, if you're in a job where you get paid well to do little AND you get a new truck every year (WITH gas and insurance paid! YOU SUCK!! GIMMIE THAT JOB!! hee hee), then i say keep that job as long as possible. it's not often when one can find a job where one doesn't hafta work that much and gets paid for it. and, either way, most jobs you're gonna find are gonna suck and you'll hate it either way. this doesn't mean you hafta give up your mind and become brainwashed or become addicted to money. just work at a well paying job, get rid of the debts and save up and, later, you'll have not only your freedom, but money to help enhance the enjoyment of that freedom. :D you have plenty of time to do what you want. get the boring adult part out of the way now and you'll have the security to really enjoy life later. (and that doesn't mean that far into the future...)

It is. I swear it.
And you're too strong to be brainwashed. That's all I have to say about that.
