Welp, today got busier than anticipated. Do you mind if I ask you what you are doing about car insurance for your rental? Because we are intending on booking a car while we are in the US, and the rental thing is confusing me. Do you have to buy separate car insurance, do you know?

That said: memo to self, buy the most ridiculous sippy cup ever just in case, in future. :D
If you got one with handles, you could tie a string on it and hang it from the taps. :D?

Actually just in time because we are looking at hiring our car over the next few days... since we are leaving on the 19th (it's the only thing left to organise :/ car rental is so confusing). I am totally down with getting all the insurance that could possibly be needed! Although the insurance is super confusing. I know we need CDW, and then also a theft protection insurance? And I think also personal liability since my travel insurance has some fine print excluding coverage when I'm driving

Okay, awesome. I would've been deeply shamed to have replied much later. /o\ And yeah, good call. Theft protection SHOULD be included in the generic insurance that they won't let you skip, I think? It has been thus far for me, too
