Am I the only one thinking Revenge of the Nerds after seeing the 11th Doctor's outfit?

I reckon they had to go there. Last two doctors were a bit too current fashion. Not that that's a problem, but the new one needed more of a change to keep in line with the many doctors over the years.

He is a tad revenge of the nerds though. Will have to see how it sits on him! (Once I stop mourning the loss of DT)

Me thinks because the actor is so "young" that they need the "older" wardrobe look to balance "The Doctor" image. Otherwise it would just be some ordinary looking

I... have not replied earlier because the link provided seems to take a wet week to load for me.

I have not much opinion on his outfit yet. It's certainly not latest catwalk material, but I'd like to see how he wears it before labelling it 'nerd'.
