What I found especially inspiring about this fic was the way it portrayed the enigma of Snape, through the eyes of Lucius Malfoy and Harry's insistence on making Snape a hero. The subtle power struggle between the labels of 'Gryffindor' and 'Slytherin' is well played out here, but the twists and turns the story took all the way to the end were definitely worthy of Snape and his complexity, and how to the end, he will always been a mystery at the core.
