I'm a real sucker for Neville fics, and this one does a good introspection of Neville's character as he grows up over the books. The chosen scenes are well-paced and nicely chosen to show Neville's transition into his ultimate heroic role at the end--while stressing that he doesn't view himself that way.
Also, the ending line is perfect.
