I loved this so much, I was disappointed when it ended--er, not because of the ending, but because it ended as it had to. Both characters were beautifully fleshed out, and their interaction was natural, in a scenario that fit nicely within the boundaries of canon. The dialogue was fantastic, the narrative flowed naturally, and it came together as a very easy, engaging read. Beautiful combination of missing moment and alternate point of view!
