big decisions and not enough time...

I've been contemplating, on and off, whether or not I should change schools... Don't get me wrong... I love Marian, it's a quaint school; however, they really don't have what I need here... Mathematics really isn't my forte... I just feel like I should take the foreign language route... but, come to think of it... I'm not really sure... DAMMIT! I ( Read more... )

Honey, there are moments in everyone's life where we second guess our decisions. Most often, they are important and life altering decisions. Ultimately though, you chose mathematics. Maybe your reasons have changed, or been eliminated entirely. However, things are going to get difficult from time to time. There are people that can help you try to understand. It's different if you feel it's too difficult than if you don't enjoy what you're doing anymore. If you don't like math, then you should look into changing your major to something you would enjoy. Otherwise, don't throw a lot of very hard, and very impressive work away. Hang in there. I have faith in you. I'm here for you if you ever just need someone to hear you out and help organize your thoughts.
