Don't listen to people who tell you to go out in the sun more. I'm finally beginning to get a few lines around my eyes but I still have fewer lines than most women my age and it's because I don't go out in the sun. You too could look young forever. ;)
Mwa ha ha ha ha ha! Cool. I plan on looking 16 at least until I'm 30. Most Japanese people are all like 'Oh, you're so pale, I bet you burn really red fast' because that's their image of all white people, and don't believe me when I tell them I tan super dark (yay bizarre random heritages), but I just refuse to do so because I don't want melanoma.
Pineapple bacon pizza is the BEST. Better than pineapple ham pizza. But it can be hard to find.
I'm one of those people who doesn't understand line-drying the laundry. In Europe, I was astonished that so few people had dryers. England! Rain! Lots of it! And I agree with you about things being too starchy and stiff. Especially things like jeans. Ugh. And there is NO WAY I'm going to do laundry that often. I managed to do it about every week and a half to two weeks as it is, and that's a lot better than I used to be!
Whoa, they do it in England? That's just dumb! That's like trying to line dry in Seattle! No! Even if it doesn't rain, it's almost definitely humid or foggy.
Yeah, I like doing mine every week and a half to two as well. Even though I don't have much drying space, I can't force myself to do it more often. I mean, Old habits die hard. Also, it's coin laundry. I'm SO not doing it more than absolutely necessary. One load coasts the same as Milk tea and Peach Juice.
*grins* about the cost of laundry versus tea and juice.
It's actually easier for me to do laundry these days because it's handily in the garage and not hidden in a basement, and with Dave around it somehow became easier since it's not just my laundry. I get frustrated before he does. :> I actually do hanger-dry a few things of Dave's so they won't shrink, but there's a nice convenient rod already in the laundry area.
But yeah! It was so bizarre that in England of all places... line-dry. Of course it's not always outside. There are these drying racks that they set up inside. Just fold-out wooden things, but still. Oh, and many times the washing machine is in the kitchen, kind of like a dishwasher. There were quite a few oddities that I didn't expect when I went over there. Things that just seem plain common sense. One way to drive home "different country." :>
And B) CHAIRMAN KAGA JR IS GOING TO BE ON DANCING WITH THE STARS! I am pretty sure that is the most spectacular thing ever and if he started every routine by shouting "ALLEZ DANSE!" I would watch all the time forever. ♥~
Japan has a better selection of English songs than most American karoake bars. I think I covered in another post's comments somewhere that North America's idea of karaoke is the sad, pathetically twitching in pain and uncontrollably drooling inbred cousin of Japanese Karaoke. You'll probably do better here. The place near your dorm, Olympia (ironically enough) has a well updated DAM Karaoke system. I recommend DAM and JOYSOUND. Those two are the most updated and diverse systems. That being said, I know you listen to a lot of REALLY out there stuff, so I'm not sure how good your luck will be. They're broad enough to have MIKA, Kaiser Chiefs, and Scissor Sisters, none of which are exactly mainstream, but they don't have any of the ridiculous French Rap or much opera I listen to.
