Not so much on the severe cold shoulder for being a Badd Grrl and staying out late, though. Not nice. I wonder if that is a sort of pan-East-Asian thing, to sorta blow off an apology. Suddenly, a man in rib-cage high white pants and a curly blonde wig complete with a halo and angel wings came prancing and hand-flourishing towards usSo I'm sitting here thinking about how terrifying this place would be on LSD, and then to have THIS GUY pop out at you?! Holy shit, my heart would seriously explode in my chest and I would fall over dead. I am freaking terrified. XD

Yeah, I found out later that's that a typical Japanese reaction to an apology. I mean, apparently forgiving is one of our silly western concepts. XD. I'm just being mean now.....
That place would be SUPER UNGOOD on acid. I mean, we had to sit down due to vertigo after ten minutes. I think Alex mentioned the same thing. Acid + Puroland = instant padded walls.
More stories of transvestites and chinese people (not both at the same time though) are coming~
Yeah but it's understandable. I mean, their daughters are my size and if THEY came back at midnight without having called at any point, I'd freak out. It's nice to be treated as part of the family. It's not so nice they they forgot I was 20 and good at Japan. But hey. This is my fifth Host family, I should've been expecting it. At leas they cared enough to be mad. I grew up without a curfew (didn't need one, also I was WAY TOO RESPONSIBLE I FAIL AT BEING A TEENAGER) so I forget things like that.
Oh not good. Scary cafe. XD, there's so much wrong with that.
Puroland is out of the way, and I can't say it's entirely worth it unless you're already in the area (luckily Tamagawa just so happened to be on the Odawara line) but if you ever do make it, make sure to see the scary waist high white pants man XD.
