My, Shikamachu. It's been a long time. Let me tell you about what has happened to me. Shortly after I completed my master's degree in biology in Indiana, Pennsylvania, I decided I would move along with my parents out to Tucson, Arizona. I then looked to get accepted into a biology PhD program, but this did not come about. My original career goal was to be a biologist that does conservation work for a state or federal agency such as the US Fish and Wildlife service, but it never happened. So I obtained a two year associate's degree in med lab science (I already had a lot of the necessary background for this field). Normally you need a four year bachelor's degree in med lab science if you ever want to earn MT (Medical Technologist) certification. But a person with a master's degree in biology is given an exception. I currently reside in Alamogordo, NM where I work in the med lab at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center.
