Well, I am glad you are back. But onto business, maybe this is a good thing, the fact that you aren't as busy as you usually are and it forces you to sit and contemplate. Obviously it is bad when your mind resorts to dwelling on the negative, but I think it is necessary to sit and think it through rather than try to run away from it. All of your thoughts you have been having are very human and natural as well. Being alone does suck, but I found that the time in my life when I was very isolated and alone I really figured myself out. Now I know what I believe in, who I am, and know that I like myself just as I am, faults and all. If you make it through, which I am sure you will, it will bring you a much greater contentment than never having had confronted yourself with all of your doubts and troubles. However, once you attain this contentment, you may never get back to being as passionate as you were before. And I agree with you, ignorance really is bliss.
