Nick here, formally announcing my involvement in this project as long as it doesn't become "let's just copy the anime we love into an RPG" Let's make this original.

But aliens? Anime is popular because it has a reasonable amount of belief put into it, because it doesn't do something completely radical like add aliens when least expected.

I don't think Gundam works for an RPG game. I think if we do do an anime based RPG, it should be Hellsing. But if we do end up doing Gundam, I'll give it a chance, and see if I like it. I still think we should also add some classic D&D in there, plus Andrew, we are turning evil, so that should be quite amusing.

I proclaim it loud that I am a true-blue Roleplaying nerd, and that I will lay down countless an hour to create such a game as a futuristic Mech RPG.

But sucks to your dnd, it's old, it's yesterday, it's what we do when we're entirely too out of things to do. Let's move on please.

Uhh, having a "mech" in space with stats sounds really sweet to me...Sweeter than any other thing, more like a cosmic era of D20 Modern but with mechs and fighting in space. And using your character on plants like Earth like you would in d20 Modern. I see no faults in it, just the only thing would be a fault is if we got lazy and never worked on it and nothing would get done. So, So far me Andy Andrew...So if you don't want to work on it don't think you can hang around my house when we're working on this, if it does decide to go to plan.
