"the prof was talking about how the technology available that allows you to choose the sex of your baby is screwing up the ratio. The RATIO"
hahah I love references to the ratio! it's also funny because last night me and Adrian went to a lecture on ethics of sex selection by a world renowned ethics PHD from UVic and he said the exact opposite =(. The ratio is screwed up naturally and people are using sex selection to even it out. Currently it's around 60% female in the world. I can ask him for his sources if you're interested. He had oodles of them on his slides.

Think its the same problem in India.
Its weird that they would be trying to even it out on a world wide scale, when it would be more practical to work regionally I would think.
I can say one thing for sure though, the ratio at Camosun works in my favour. Is it the same at UVic?
