I've been drawing a picture. Its a tree on a cliff-side, with a sunset going on behind the tree. It has got me thinking about the creative process

I wish I could draw what's in my head, but instead I paint with words.

I often wish I could say what I mean, and instead I find myself fighting to simply mean what I say - which is a losing battle and fruitless one!

We have the gifts we have for a reason though!

There is a venue here in Van that does a Thundering Word night that a lot of comedians go to but it also has poets and short story authors. Some comedians don't even do jokes but instead just tell a story from their lives that isn't even funny. This post seems like it would fit in to a spoken word sort of thing well.
