Hey, Steve, are you the fellow who used to have a web-based discography for The The? Because if you are, I'm the one who added to it . . . then Sony took the same discography over for THEIR The The site, and now of course who the hell even knows what's going on with Matt Johnson. . . .
Erm.
Anyway, followed you over here from Outpost Gallifrey. Name's Mindrobber over there. Cheers!
Oh, gosh, I read your reply a while ago and completely forgot about responding to it. Yes! The original "Visual The The Discography" was mine, and when Matt was getting his own site up he asked (through his web designer) if he could take it over. I said of course, and got comped for his Chicago concert in return. I was happy with turning it over because I hadn't updated it in so long, and no longer had a good handle on what new stuff was out there. Cheers!
Did you get comped for The The's "secret show" at The Metro in the mid '90's, while Matt was touring in support of Depeche Mode? I was heavily active on the old AOL The The group, and Matt's old manager Marc Geiger comped me a couple tix.
Hell, you and I may have even met . . . I ran the Second Hand Tunes vinyl shop in Evanston from '91 to '95.

I know I visited Second Hand Tunes in Evanston in that time (closer to 91 than 95), although admittedly I was more of a Vintage Vinyl guy. :)
