Look out! Comin' through!

Have you ever been walking down a corridor and had someone come around a corner and collide (or nearly collide) with you? I would imagine it happens all the time to most people. Actual collisions are probably uncommon, but there are surely a lot of near misses. If you ever walk down crowded sidewalks or corridors, do you have an easy time or hard ( Read more... )

For some reason, the image of you on rollerskates is making me laugh way too much.

I've had people collide with me all the time, even celebrities (I had Debbie Harry and Jim Henson barrel into me when I was getting out of/getting into elevators respectively. Then again, I was born a klutz and will most likely die one.

Transit gave me the gift. In SF I went for years without a car and I never bothered trying to get a seat on a train, bus, trolley or cable car as they navigated in all three axes. Too many ancient Chinese ladies, it wouldn't have looked good. Back in Carolina I learned to ice skate when I was 6 and I did put in a reasonable number of hours at the roller rink as well. I have since lost my ice skating skills.
