don't you need to take the FSE to work for most positions at the state department?

yes, but not this one. it's at the consular office, and i only know about it because someone else told me. i don't think it's something that's advertised. are you interested?

yeah totally, I really, really want to work for the state department. it seems like such an amazing experience. I've been considerring taking the FSE even. what sorta work would you be doing at the consular office?
