aight, fswe's over (foreign service written exam). i chose the political track, and it wasn't too easy. for some reason i'm terrible, not only at multiple choice tests, but also at remembering questions after the test. i think i trained myself at a young age to think that once it's over, there's no point dwelling about it. the general knowledge ( Read more... )

I just noticed that on a package of shredded mozzarella cheese from Trader Joe's, there are pictures of cows. Obviously, because cheese comes from milk which comes from cows. So shouldn't they have goats on the packages of goat cheese, and cows on steak packages, pigs on pork and ham packages, etc? Or do people not really want to know where their ( Read more... )

Man I made the best sandwich today. Multi-grain sourdough bread, 3 cheeses (smoked gouda and (I think) feta on one side, mozzarella on the other), slightly sautéed mushrooms and red bell pepper, italian seasonings, and lettuce with a little salsa between the leaves. Mmmmmmm.

Maybe I should become a chef, just like my IR advisor would like.
