Drugs!

Got back from the doctor today. Again. From the results of my stress test and cardiogram he determined that I have some thickening in the mitral valve leaflet (with no regurgitation) and an obvious increase in cardiac hyperactivity. What I didn't expect was the diagnosis of having PVCs. Having an irregular contraction of the ventricles is something ( Read more... )

I don't know anything of the sort that exists in this country, though that it isn't to say it doesn't exist. It would be rather convenient as doctors seem to have a hard time sharing data and tests, even going so far as scheduling the exact same tests to be done days apart.

Shimdra? Don't die. OR ELSE.

Seriously though, hope things go better for ya :/ Anything you can do to mitigate the attacks?

Well, it's good to hear some progress is being made. Treatment has been set in and whatnot. Still something to worry about since you've had another episode though. At least you came just in time to seek medical attention. I'm sure recovery is not too far away.

And also, I suppose the closest thing to come to that, "Personal Health Booklet" is a medical history as well as an immunization record. Not sure what if you have access to medical histories or if they actually exist. (I always thought they had files but only kept at those facilities due to privacy concerns).

Perhaps when you visit a doctor next time, you might want to ask how to get such a copy if it's possible.

Anyhow, Shimdra, hang in there, I'm hopin' for the best.

I am glad to know you are getting treatment for this now, but it does sound very worrysome. :( I think that as long as you are in a situation that you are dependent on the doctors you have been in contact with, moving off is probably not the best thing, unless you are allowed to take all your journals with you and knowing that you will get assigned a doctor over at Akhor's place in time for next check-up. I just think you should put priority to your treatment. :\

You are right and it is the reason I haven't left yet. It does concern me greatly and I'm not one to make impulsive decisions.
