i am SHOCKED that anyone would attempt to either trade on or discover your birth date - that is such a terrible thing to do and i am disgusted at the person who might have encouraged your friend to trade the information he may or may not have had

just shocked...

and saddened that in this day and age such things can happen

shocking...

(yay for the collaboration - i hope you said yes! - yay for the spiritual group for couples with Matt - yay for pretty spaces)

still shocked though!

It IS shocking. I shake my head sadly whenever I think of it. I am glad you share my consternation.

it completely disconcerts me to think that such people are walking around amongst the rest of us!

the worst part of it is, they might appear to be very sweet, nice people who would never EVER attempt anything underhanded. And then, when you find out what they were really up to...

Thank goodness WE would never plot and scheme. We are above such tawdry behavior.

Item: wow. it must be the 21st century. I just got friended on FaceBook by Matt's ex-wife.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?

that may be it. But I am completely clean there, so she will get no dirt on me, other than that my sister tagged me in some unattractive photos of me as a young girl.*

At any rate, whatever her motivations are, I am choosing to treat it as a gesture of friendship because she knows her kids love me.

*an act for which she will pay and pay dearly, btw...
