I'm reading apartment therapy and checking out the Smallest Coolest Apartment pictures. I love pictures of real peoples homes. Not that people in Domino aren't real. I mean that they don't have the help of a designer. I've decided I'm painting my bathroom blusih gray and my kitchen brown... maybe. The bathroom is a definite though. I'm so sad

What shade of brown for the kitchen?

I'm thinking chocolate brown... and a white table an white wall shelves from ikea. I've really been eying dark brown pedestal tables but i'm not stationary enough for serious furniture like that i suppose.

Will your walls be stark white too? I'm just curious if you're going for contrast.

Brown is one of those colors that I never think of when it comes to decorating but every now and again I see a room done up in brown and am astonished at how versatile it can be. Are you looking at open shelving with a certain color theme for your dishes?
