Summary: Ki bum wonders why he keeps on thinking of a certain someone.
A/N: Hello there everybody!!! I’m back from the dead!! Hehehehhe…here’s chapter 5….

Ki bum never felt this well-rested since he entered college. The pressure he got from his parents and everyone else was almost unbearable, but he couldn’t complain, now could he? Being an heir was not as easy as everybody thinks. Well, there are good things that come along with being rich and famous. For one, he could have anything he wanted without him putting much effort. He got to live comfortably and securely unlike millions out there, struggling to survive their everyday lives. Having no freedom and having to face great expectations were the set down for being the successor of a multi-million company. He had no choice but to accept the life he was given. After all, nobody’s perfect, right?
But today was different, he knew today was different than the other days. He could feel it in his gut. It might only be his imagination, but he couldn’t help but associate Donghae in the change he feels within himself. “I’m going to have fun today!” he said smiling, dongahe’s face once again flashed in his mind. Today was the first day of their pictorial. Honestly, he didn’t know why dongahe picked him for a model of all people. Well, sure he had a handsome face, but as far as he knows, being a model required so much more than just that. Since everything was already set, he didn’t think of it anymore. Truth to be told, he was more interested in what Donghae has in store for him that day.
He hadn’t had so much fun in his life than yesterday. Every little thing donghae does makes ki bum want to laugh. He made ki bum so happy than anyone in the world could, but of course he will never admit THAT. He remembered how he wanted to laugh his heart out last night, but forced himself not to. So instead of laughing his lungs out, he scowled whenever donghae said something funny. He had to use all of his strength just to keep his face emotionless as possible. ”Man, yesterday was tiring! I didn’t know keeping my face straight was that hard! But it was kind of refreshing talking to him” ki bum thought with a small smile as he went down to the kitchen.
Everyone was surprised at ki bum’s arrival. “Good morning, is breakfast ready?” he said oblivious of the smile he was still wearing. Just after he said that, five maids fainted simultaneously when they saw the legendary smile. Even though it was only small, you really couldn’t deny the fact that it looked angelic. And coming from a seemingly stoic person made that smile even more beautiful and special. “Umm…are they alright?” ki bum asked Michael as the butler helped attend to the weakened maids. “They’ll be fine young master”’ said the butler as he told the maids to go to the infirmary. “Are you sure? Two had nosebleeds! Are they sick or something? He said, and then added “Do you feed them properly, Mike?”. Michael only laughed at this, and then said “Of course young master. And please do not worry yourself about it any longer. They’ll be fine after a days rest” Michael said with a reassuring smile. “Breakfast is ready young master” His chef said as he laid down a tray of food. “Thank you, Sebastian” he said then sat down at the kitchen counter to eat. After awhile he felt a pair of eyes on his back then turned around to see his butler eyeing him.
”Why are you looking at me like that? You’re creeping me out, you know” he said then continued to eat.
“You’ve been smiling since last night, sir. Mind telling me what happened?”
“Umm…Nothing much” ki bum said while struggling to swallow his food.
“Somebody’s keeping something. I wonder what it is. Hmmm…” Michael said acting as if he didn’t already know.
“Alright… geez.. I can’t really keep something from you, can i?” ki bum said surrendering.
“Well the fact that I have been with you all your life is a big help, but seeing as to how easy you are to read, its not really a wonder how I can figure you out that easily” Michael said then added ” no offense, sir”.
“None taken” ki bum replied.
“Now, I believe you have something to tell me?”
Ki bum drank his glass of orange juice then said “I …ummm…met her again yesterday” ki bum said barely a whisper.
“Oh. . That explains a lot” Michael said not really surprised at the confession. He already predicted this, and seeing his master’s smile only confirmed his prediction.
Before Michael could ask anymore questions ki bum excused himself and dashed to his car. ”If I didn’t already know, I swear that old man hired somebody to stalk me!” he thought amused by his butler’s ability to understand him completely. The ride to school was full of excitement, joy, uncertainty and doubt.
Ki bum couldn’t understand why every time he thinks about donghae his heart does this very weird flipping thing. “Should I go to the hospital and get a check up?”. He felt very uncomfortable with it, yet he enjoyed every second of it. “Arrg…I’m not making any sense here!!” ki bum continued to debate with himself until he arrived in school.
From the second his car entered the campus gates, all eyes were already on him. Before he could open his car door, his so called “guards” were already protecting him from all his “followers”. These guards are the officers of ki bum’s official fan club.
“Same as always” he said as he rolled his eyes. ”don’t they get tired of doing this everyday? I know I am. This is really annoying!” ki bum sighed. ” Think positive, think positive, don’t let them ruin your beautiful day ki bum!” he thought while walking to his locker.
He opened the metal container when suddenly….Shhhh(sound of paper falling). Hundreds of what he assumed as love letters fell on him all at once. “When will this madness end??!!!! Look at this, such a WASTE! Trees are being cut down just to produce these papers” he screamed in his head. Although he was fuming inside, he acted as if he didn’t care and walked to his first class with his things.
“RRRRRiiiiiiiiiinnnngggggg!!!!!” the sound of the first bell magically willed all the girls away and by that he was truly thankful. Morning class came and went. “Boring as ever” ki bum thought as he walked towards the cafeteria. He was greeted by the usual crazy girls. The only difference was, they each had with them a lunchbox. “Here we go again”.
“Ki bum-sshi, I made this especially for you” said one girl while holding out her lunchbox.
“Ki bum-sshi, I woke up early this morning just to make this for you” said another girl.
“Ki bum-sshi their lunch are all nothing compared to mine, I made it with all my love for you” said another.
“Hey! What are you talking about? You even flunked home economics!! I bet that tastes like garbage”
“What did you say bitch?? The 3rd girl shouted, full of rage.
“Wow..girls can really be scary!! They’re like starving hyenas fighting over food!!!” ki bum thought. “Ladies, ladies, please calm down.” Ki bum said trying to settle the situation. But the girls were much much stronger than he thought.” Man this is hopeless” he said while he escaped discreetly.
On the other side of the cafeteria
“What’s the commotion about?” donghae asked his friends while eating.
“Hmmm??? What are you talking about?” kang in asked.
“Cant you hear and see that?” donghae asked kang in again.
“Ah…that…” kang in said brushing it off.
“Hey! You still haven’t answered my question” dongahe whined.
“It’s the prince’s fan girls” Shindong replied in between bites of his burger.
“Prince??? I didn’t know we had a prince here” donghae shocked of what he just heard.
“You don’t know him?? Are you serious??” teukie asked.
“Why?? Is it any of my business? And oh, what country does he come from?”
“I can’t believe you don’t know him!! And what country he comes from??? He is Asia’s prince donghae. His fathers the richest man in Asia!! You really don’t know that????”kang in couldn’t believe that his best friend didn’t know the most popular guy on campus.
“Wow, he’s really rich. Well if he’s that important then why don’t I see guards around school?” donghae asked.
“Well, they say he doesn’t want anymore attention than he already does. And he does have guards. You just can’t see them” teukie said.
“Why? Are they invisible?” dongahe asked while eating his lunch.
“Man, you’re hopeless. You can’t see them because the prince doesn’t want to feel different. He wants to feel normal. Well at least that’s what everyone’s been told” shindong said finishing his lunch. After his meal, donghae made his way to his last class before the pictorial. Yesterday was definitely one of donghae’s most unforgettable days. He found his model and not just an ordinary model at that. He found the most beautiful person he has ever seen in his life.
Donghae couldn’t help but smile at how ki bum acted last night. While he was telling him jokes he noticed ki bum clench his fists until his knuckles turned white. He knew ki bum wanted to laugh, but he just couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t laugh. “He was really struggling not to laugh! That guy’s weird” donghae thought.
Ki bum’s face did a very good job in hiding his emotions. But his eyes betrayed him and showed utmost joy and happiness. Anyone would have missed that but in the eyes of a photographer, nothing could be left unnoticed. Dongahe continued to crack jokes even though his companion isn’t showing any signs of amusement, because he knew he made ki bum happy. That he was absolutely sure about.
After his class was done, donghae called the person he really wanted to see that day.
“Hello? Ki bum-sshi, are you sdone with your class yet?” donghae asked excited.
“Yeah, where do you want to meet?” ki bum replied.
“Same place” donghae said.
“Alright, I’ll be there in a moment” ki bum said then hung up.
After the phone call, donghae dashed to the school fountain and waited for ki bum to arrive. After a few minutes ki bum arrived as gorgeous as ever. Ki bum caught donghae staring at him and asked
”Are you alright? You look dazed” ki bum said.
“Oh…I’m alright. Sorry ‘bout that. So shall we start?” donghae siad smiling.
When ki bum saw the smile, his heart did the flipping thing again and started to beat faster by the second. “Yeah, sure, but where are we going to do the pictorial. ” ki bum managed to say.
“Oh. I totally forgot. We’re going to do it in the school gardens. Since nobody ever visits that place around this time, plus its really beautiful there” donghae said excitement in his eyes.
“Okay then, shall we go?” ki bum said, smile threatening to form.
The walk to the garden was silent. Till donghae broke it when he said
“So the theme for today’s pictorial is confusion. Like uncertainty, doubt and so and so”
“So what am I supposed to do? I don’t know anything about modeling. And is my clothes appropriate for the shoot?” ki bum inquiring.
“Your clothes are more than fine, really. And all you have to do is think of something you’re not sure of. Like ummm…something you can’t comprehend. Just think of those things and leave the rest to me” donghae said then directed ki bum to sit on the grass.
The pictorial went smoothly.” Wow he’s a real genius at this. He should really consider modeling!” he said then proceed in taking pictures of this beautiful man. After an hour or so they were done with very impressive results.
“ki bum you should really consider modeling!!! You’re really good” donghae said.
“im not really interested, but thank you for complementing” ki bum said.
That night they went out again, but this time ki bum opened up. They had so much fun they didn’t even notice the time tick by.
-Meanwhile at the Kim mansion-
“Welcome home Madam” Michael said bowing to ki bum’s mother. “Its good to be back, Mike” she said then asked” Where is ki bum? I don’t see him anywhere” Michael didn’t know what to say to her so he just stayed silent.
----im sorry if the ending sucked…please forgive me….i really don’t know how to end this…so sorry……..well at least its long right??? Hehehehhe…I got to update this week cuz our classes got postponed this week….thank God….anyway thank you for reading….please comment….( sorry again for the ending) and yeah I almost forgot… leunah unnie thanks for the advice the other day…..really appreciate it…..----------
