Ah, this isn't really too much of an entry. You need about 6 or 7 yards of black fabric. Either shantung silk, chiffon, (may be too see-through), taffetta, or Satin Charmeuse. Pick the one you like best and is cheapest. Satin Charmeuse is probably the cheapest, but check and make sure it's not too translucent. it's used a lot for formal wear, though, so it should be fine.
You will also need about 2 yards of red velveteen/brocade - jackety fabric.
