You remember that time we were in your room dressing up osgood and playing monopoly and we threw the dice and lost them. And then when we went searching under your bed we got sucked into an alternate dimension and there were lots of flashing lights and colors? When we finally stopped spinning we noticed that we weren't in Tacoma anymore and a giant stone Scottie dog almost squished us. We were in Monopoly land! It was good and fun until you stepped on the Go to Jail spot and I had to sneak you out... I don't remember how I did it... and the stupid monopoly guy was mocking us so we stole the racecar and hit him and somehow managed to get back to your room... your sister was very scared when we drove out from under your bed...

I remember during the Time of Circles, when everything and every one was made out of nothing but circles. You got really pissed off at God for making it so impossible to hug. The circles were none squishable, so when people tried to hug each other theyed just bounce off or roll over one another. So you screamed a blasphemy, which I dare not repeat, that shook the very circular heavens. So God came down, we all feared he was going to smite you, all circles he boomed. "So you wanna be huggable, ay?" And with his circle he pointed at you commandingly and suddenly you transformed, "NOW YOU ARE THE MOST SQUISHIBLE THING ON THE PLANET!!!" He boomed with mighty laughter. He had turned you into the very first plushy. And indeed you were the most squishible thing on the Earth. Everyone hugged and squeazed you and you giggled and smiled. Soon the entire planet was in tears because no one was as good a hugger as you. God came down from the circular heavens, "What on Earth is going on?" The circular people all sobbed, "we want to be squishy too ( ... )

i remember when, at one of your parties, we had massed tens of people ont your bed, and everyone was laughing and smiling and having a great time. we were talking and playing videogames, and i think you were cuddling your spike cutout. all of a sudden we heard a cracking sound, and a sinking sound, and everyone went quiet. the room was still for a second or two. then the whole room went out. blown out like a candle. i think i must have blacked out, because i dont remember much after that, but i do remember the screaming.

i remember when the world was new and shiny, and everything was green. you and me and everyone we know were there, but we were different. things were less complicated. we lived in little groups, all together, around a big fire. we would share stories over the bonfire, while our dinner cooked.
every once in a while one of us, an older one, would go off alone and never come back. but we understood why and were at peace with it. we werent afraid of anything, let alone death.
one day, all of us woke up, well, maybe not all at once, but we were all awake eventually, and there it was standing as tall as anything. at first we were confused, then mystified. something so huge and black and perfectly crafter towering over us like a great sentinel. we'd never seen anything like it.
after a few moments of wonder, everything changed, and we knew all we needed to know.
