.UNTITLED PARTICIPANT.
It has been a year since the last Biology Olympiad was held, it has been a year since your first meeting with him. Since that day, you’ve become more conscious to joining every Olympiad that was held in your city. Hoped that you’ll meet him again and had a chance to ask his name. And yeah, you haven’t known his name. yet. All you‘ve known was only where he went to school. You always blamed the presenter for only mentioned the school name, not the winner name back then. It was far from your school yet you didn’t have any friends to ask about his name. It has been a year with many Olympiads you’ve won. You really missed being runner-up.
That year was your last year in elementary. Meant that was the last Olympiad you could joined. You kept repeating all of your want to met him that day, gave your head positive thinking. Haven’t you heard people said that “When you keep repeating something you want until ten times, it will works?” That was what happened to you that day. You saw him entered the hall, still with his tofu-smile and his round framed glasses. You didn’t saw any differences in him. His fair skinned did look match with his red short. His brown hair did look match with his.. hmm.. brown eyes? You need to make sure about it, you thought.
You didn’t do well that day. Well, you didn’t wanna do well. You did it on purpose. So when the judge called your school name after his, you already stood on your place, ready to headed the stage, ready to accompany a slant-eyed boy with wide smile on your face. Matched it with a tofu-smile besides you, pointed it to the camera. It was the second photo in your second Olympiad together.
You’ve wandered the hall, searched for the place the organizer told you to take your charter. Well, it was not your major reason. You remembered that you haven’t asked his name. Again and again, the judge mentioned the school name instead of the winner name. Geez, what’s wrong with the presenter and judge these days? You kept searching until you heard your school name was mentioned on speaker, asked the representative to took the charter immediately. Sighed, you turned your body lazily on your shuffle feet. Headed to the organizer room.
You held your breath when you saw him there, stood in front of the desk, wrote something. You came to the desk, the same desk where he were. The organizer asked you your school name and she went back to the filing cabinet, searched for your charter maybe. It has been like hours you stood still beside him, did nothing, eyes on your feet. When the thought came and gave you a little bit braveness to moved your eyes from your feet to his feet. You saw his black shoes. It was when you started to guessing up his shoes number, he moved his hand to thigh, already finished filling his form, you thought. And you saw his watch, dark red watch with a dark brown leather strap. Too big on his hand, and too old-school for the elementary boy.
The word ‘form’ got you and you decided to took a peep on it instead of asked his name by yourself. You were not that brave after all. It was when you straightened your neck, someone called you and dragged you by the arm, headed to the exit door. “Where have you been? Our teacher already took your charter. Now straighten your feet, move faster, or our teacher and friends will leave us alone here!”, your friend shouted while she kept dragging you to the door. You turned your head to his place, startled when your eyes met his. Thanks to your friend for shouted and took his attention. “I’d rather being left here alone..” you whispered to those brown eyes before you.

Yup, it’s still past tense! Kinda confused with the present time though.
