"She realized again how little she knew him, beyond their casual contact as two people who both loved Junghee. He had sprouted up like a weed in a dusty vacant lot, inexplicably thriving and blossoming in the hard bare ground. He had tricked her, made her think it was natural, that he needed no water to live, that he was untouched by the harsh conditions that bore him. She had taken it for granted that he would always be there, that life came so instinctively to him that he could never die. And now he was dying, wilting before her eyes, and soon he would be gone, crumbling into the earth that he had claimed for his own, and the earth would take no notice of his loss. I don't even know what just happened but I sure am glad I stuck around for the whole thing! Like...from chapter to chapter I never knew what to expect but I was so drawn in by the characters and the depth of the story - of this world- that it was literally impossible for me to stop reading. I loved how you wrote Jonghyun/Junghee and Minjung - the flashbacks killed me - and the feelings were just so real and so gut-wrenching that I was hooked. And Kibum!! Oh. My. Gosh. I was like soooooooooooo just enamored with your description of him and Jonghyun/Junghee. Just like, their whole relationship and the depth of feelings that they felt. and Minjung. who was such a beautiful soul but was so lost in her love for Jonghyun/Junghee that she couldn't even recognize it. And baby Tae! Just like. The feelings were so so so so strong I can't even begin to unravel them. That ending. It was just so..... real and so true to character for both of them. It was perfect. This was so beautifully written and I am so impressed by all of your amazing skill.

its been a really long time sinced I've been moved by a fic like this. i really loved all the characters, the were perfectly imperfect, if that make sense. they all had depth to them that made them seem so real. Taemin's character I especially loved....adored actually. some bits were really heartbreaking and by the end i was actually feeling a little ill, my stomach was in knots. (It's the day after I read it and I'm still a little haunted by the whole thing). Thank you so much for writing such a great story!

this was so good i barely have words! the build up to the actual horror aspect was so well done and the emotions throughout the story were so organic and raw. this isn't my typical genre at all but you still managed to capture my attention from the very beginning. just... wow

This fic made freaking emooo. Ugh I have so many thoughts it's hard to express them all. First of all, I loved bigender jjong that was so adorable and well written and just really nice. Like his gender was important of course, but it was also just like a natural part of the story, really normalizing nonbinary characters if this makes any sense. I really liked it. The two of them went through so much together and came out of it so strong. All the stuff with taemin was really emotional :((( and when taem died;;; it was really sad. It was just like, once I started this fic i had to put everything else on hold until I finished it. I really needed to know what happened next. Your writing was so good. I loved Minjung too. <333 Really great job <333
