Title: Say I Love You On Christmas
Pairing: Jonghyun/Key and Onew/Minho
Rating: PG-13

Summary: Jonghyun is afraid of the coming Christmas because he is doesn’t have a present for his lover, while Minho falls in love with his friend’s brother who he didn’t know existed in the first place.
The winter came a lot earlier then expected this year. Maybe it was global warming that had caused this particular phenomenon or maybe it was God that wanted some drastic changes for a change. It has been a week since the first snow of the year came, the wind was blowing strongly, sometimes it snows and sometimes it rains...thunderstorm, it was scary, if you were alone in the dorm, where your dorm electricity alway goes on and off as it wishes, it always make you piss off when you are doing something important.
It was freezing out there, you won’t want to go out of you comfy house or even your dorm, but when the electricity went off again, leaving you at the dark, it always make you freak out, even if you are not going to admit it out loud.
Knock Knock...
Kibum looked around in the dark and cursed under his breath, walking toward the door, kicking and bumping some of the things that were in his way to the door and opened it to reveal a panting Jonghyun, his boyfriend, holding one plastic bag in his left hand and a mini torch on his right, “What took you so long?”
“Why you have to be so mean to your boyfriend. It’s dark here, it lucky that i have brought my mini torch light, i can’t even see with my torch light, it was so dark... I even bought your favorite coffee that you asked for! I risk my life going out in the freezing cold just to get you your coffee and you didn’t give me a hug ok a kiss for victorious acomplishment!” Jonghyun say out dramatically.
Kibum glared at his boyfriend before he sighed; walking up to Jonghyun and giving him a tight hug,”I’m sorry for being a ‘bitch’.”
“Oh, my Key is being lovey-dovey all of a sudden but i love it.” Jonghyun kissed Kibum on the forehead but Kibum hit Jonghyun on the chest.
“Hey! That hurts, i may crack like the ice scrupture.” Jonghyun laugh.
“Stop talking Jjong!” Kibum kiss Jonghyun on the lips in the dark, not minding that he was in the dark, as long as he was with Jonghyun.

Kibum looked at his watch and cursed under his breath, he shiver under his white thick jacket. He felt stupid. Who in the right mind would stand in the middle of the cold to wait for someone. He curse again while looking at his watch for the nth time for the past fifteen minutes, he finally snapped and decided to leave.
Meanwhile, half an hour earlier....
Jonghyun march into a room and shouted, “Rise and shine...Hyung come on, we are late!” Jonghyun dug under the pile of blankets until he found his brother under it.
“Umma, five more minutes...” Jinki mumble under his blanket. Jonghyun smile at his brother’s cute gesture before the smile turned into a smirk.
He reaches his hand under the blanket, and waited, “Ha...haha...Stop Jjong!...Ok I’m up...I’m up...stop!” Jinki woke up in a flash when his brother started to tickles him under the blanket.
“Jjongie, do you really have to do that!” Jinki pouted at his brother.
“It’s the only and fastest way to wake you up.” Jonghyun smirked.
“You are so mean!”
“You were the one who wanted me to wake you up, so that you can report yourself to the college early in the morning... even though I don’t know why you’re in such a hurry!” Jonghyun complained.
“You know how much I love study...one day without reading books make me sick!” Jinki whined as he lay his body on Jonghyun’s lap.
“Yeah...Yeah...I know you are a book worm.” Jonghyun hit Jinki’s shoulder and said, “Come on we are really late!”

Kibum turned around when he heard someone calling him. When he turn around, he saw his boyfriend running toward him with another guy, when he realised who the guy was, he gasped,” Jinki hyung! Why are you here?....I mean when did you come back?”
“Kibumie!” Jinki smile brightly at his childhood friend, he inhaled and exhaled heavily as he had just run all the way from their house with Jonghyun pulling him along the way.
“Why?” Key look at his boyfriend.
“He just came back yesterday without telling us....very early in the morning, I found him sitting by the door, if I didn’t go back home late in the morning, he would have had to sit by the door the whole night without telling us!” Jonghyun explained.
“Why?” Kibum asked again.
“I just want to complete my final year studies here!” Jinki explained as they walked towards the school compound.
“But you love it there! You say it was the perfect place to study.” Kibum furrowed his eyebrows looking at Jinki.
“I love here too and you guys!” Jinki gave Kibum a smile and pinched Jonghyun on the cheek which earned him a glare from his brother.
“Hyung, that hurts!” Jonghyun rub his cheeks.
“Well, I have something to take care off in the school office, see you guys later.” Jinki bid both of them goodbye and walked toward the school building.
“Be carefull where you... go!” Jonghyun shouted but seconds later they saw Jinki trip on thin air and land flat on the pavement. Jonghyun sighed while Kibum shook his head in disbelief.
“He didn’t change at all! Did he?” Kibum voiced.
“Yeah..no at all!” Jonghyun nodded his head in agreement as he watches Jinki walking away, waving at them for the last time.

Jinki hummed a tune that he had just thought up as he walked along the corridor with a stack of books that he had borrowed from the college library. He was so absorbed in the book that he didn’t realise that people were walking out from the near by class.
Minho, who was in a hurry for his next class, packed his books in a flash and stepped out of the class, he turned right to a corner which was just outside the classroom and knocked into someone; causing their books and bags to be thrown in all directions. Minho whimpered as the person that he bumped into had fallen on top of him.
Minho looks up and gasp as he looks into a pair of beautiful dark brown orbs looking back at him with confusion, Minho gulped on his saliva when he realize that both of them were in an awkward position where Minho was holding that person’s waist while that guy’s right hand was on his chest,he felt turned on by this position, making him blush.
Jinki looked up but all he saw is in a blur without his glasses on, so it took him a few second to realise that he was staring up at the guy that he had landed on, really up close until he can feel the breath of the other guy on his face, he got up and apologises without knowing the feeling that he had given to the other.
Minho looked at the other and apologises too, as they tried to gather their scattered belongings. Jinki look around for his glasses by squatting down and touching the floor, Minho who realize it had instantly found the glassess in the second, which was just behind the other’s feet.
Minho walks over and makes Jinki stand up as Jinki gasp at the sudden contact on the waist, “Oh! What...”
“‘Don’t move! I found your glassess.” Minho bend down and pick up the glasses from the floor and helps Jinki wear them.” Jinki blinks at the adjustment of sight when Minho helps him to put his glasses on. Jinki smile when he can see clearly after he wore his glassess.
Jinki looked up at met Minho’s gaze for the first time, he gave Minho a big smile and said. “ Thank you and sorry for bumping into you!” Jinki bow as he apologises.
“It’s alright, it’s my fault too!” Minho reply as he too bow back at Jinki.

Kibum came out from his class as he walk towards his next destination, he saw someone familiar, he was going to call out the name when he notice something strange.Kibum furrow his neat and beautiful eyebrow as he tried to analyse the look and body language that his best friend was emitting after Jinki, Jonghyun’s brother walk away from his sight.
“Minho!” Kibum called out for his best friend after he watches Jinki walk away.
“Yeah!” Minho said absentmindedly as he tried to secure his belonging in his embrace.
“What are you doing?”
“Nothing!”
“You’re lying!” Kibum rolled his eyes at Minho’s answer.
“It’s nothing!” Minho assured him as he walks toward his next class with Kibum tailling behind him. Minho doesn’t want Kibum to know everthing even the prediction that his best friend might have seen something earlier.
“Your expression doesn’t say so.” Key tried again.
“For god’s sake Kibum, stop asking!” Minho said annoyingly.
“Oh my god!” Kibum squeal as he patted Minho on the back and nodded his head; Minho look at his best friend like he was insane.
“What!” Minho hiss.
“Oh,I don’t know... our famous captain of soccer and basketball team is in love!” Kibum smirked at his friend as he entered the classroom.
“I’m not!” Minho argued back.
“You are!” Kibum sat on his place
“Are not!” Minho sat behind Key.
“Are too!” Key sang, as he turn toward Minho who was sitting behind him.
“I am not!” Minho argued back.
“Don’t worry Minho! I will help you for sure, leave it to me!”
“What...no....don’t do anything stupid, I don’t need your help!” Minho warned as he gave his best friend an angry glare.
“Don’t be shy Minho, I know how to help!” Kibum said happily.
“How are you going to help? You don’t even know him or who he is?” Minho argued.
“Don’t worry, leave it all to me!”
“...I’m doomed...” Minho mumbled as the professor came into the class to start the class for the day.

The stadium was crowded with student’s as a friendly competition was held there. Taemin cheered as he watched Minho score another point after stealing the ball from the rival group and shot the ball in the net with perfect accuracy before his rival tried to steal the ball from him. Taemin was sitting on the bench with Jonghyun beside him but he wasn’t as excited as Taemin who was cheering and shouting for Minho all the time.
“Minho hyung! Hwaiting...” Taemin shouted towards Minho as he watches Minho wave at him when he shouted his cheers.
“...Taemin ah...” Jonghyun whined. Taemin wave back towards Minho as he turned towards Jonghyun and furrowed his eyebrows.
“What is it, hyung? You have been acting very strange since this morning.” Taemin eyed Jonghyun weirdly, expecting Jonghyun to spill the beans.
“Speak up! What’s wrong?” Taemin urged. Jonghyun looked at Taemin and then he sighed before looking back at his lap.
“Christmas is coming!” Jonghyun whisper.
“I’m sorry can you speak louder, I can’t hear anything!” Taemin tried to lean closer to Jonghyun.
“I said Chistmas is coming!” Jonghyun speak louder this time.
“So? Is there something wrong with the festival?” Taemin gave Jonghyun a confuse stared before he turned his gaze back to the basketball competition.
“What’s wrong with Christmas? You can tell me whats wrong with it? Why do we have to give presents in this day? Wae?” Jonghyun said out in his desparate voice as he pull his hair.
“You still haven’t prepare your present for Kibum hyung right? That why you are whining here.” Taemin shake his head as a sign of disapproval. Jonghyun gave Taemin a blank stare before he sighed in defeat.
“Don’t worry hyung!I will try to help you like last year.” Jonghyun looked up and gave his most shining smile to Taemin and hugged the younger in a bone crushing hug which caused Taemin to cry out in pain.
“Oh, hyung stop it, I can’t breath!” Taemin whined.
“Thank you...Thank you, Taeminie, you are my life saver.” Jonghyun said out loud.

The cafeteria was full of hungry people, all the lines were long, Jinki had got to the front with high hope to buy his favourite chicken chop from the stall but in the end his hope got crushed when he was told that all the dishes had been sold out and ‘all the food that had chicken in it’ too. Jinki slumped his shoulder as he walk aimlessly to an empty place and sat down sadly; sighing.
Meanwhile, Kibum draged Minho out of the class as soon as it ended, walking towards the destination that only Kibum knows. Kibum took out his phone and dialedl the number that he remembered by heart, after waiting for a second when the other end was picked up he said, “Jjong meet me at the cafeteria and be quick!”
“Kibum! I need to go practice.” Minho begged.
“No, I know that you are running away.” Kibum say sternly.
“I really do have basket ball practice to attend, there will be a competion going on in a week!”
“No, just trust me this time, you won’t want to miss this!” Kibum gave Minho a smirk.
“What are you up to this time?” Kibum’s smirk gave him the shivers.
“Nothing!” Kibum smile to himself.

Jonghyun and Taemin had reached the cafeteria together, when they met half way on the journey there, Jonghyun scan the place as he spotted a person that brought smile to his face, before he spring toward that person, he grabbed Taemin’s hand along the way, which gave Taemin a shock at the sudden tug.
“...(Gasp)...What!...” Taemin was pulled toward a direction, when they reach their destination, Jonghyun forced Taemin to sit and took a seat opposite him. It took Taemin a few seconds to realise who was in front of him.
“Jinki hyung!” Taemin said out.
“Hyung, why are you so gloomy? Did someone steal your chicken?” Jinki look up at his brother who had suddenly appeared beside him; Jinki didn’t answer Jonghyun, instead he lower his head again sadly, when the sound of his stomach growling was heard from Jinki. Jonghyun laughed and Taemin giggled at the same time.
“I need food, chicken! I need energy to think, so that I can write my final year thesis.” Jinki mumbled to himself.
Before Jonghyun could answer Jinki, another voice was heard, “Jonghyun! Jinki hyung!” Kibum said out loud. Minho stumbled behind Kibum when both of them finally reached their destination and Kibum had finally decided let go of his hand.
“Now that we are all here, I have something to discuss about the up coming Christmas party that my family is having.” Kibum said out loud.
“There is a party!” Jonghyun’s smiliing face had become crestfallen at the sudden information because he had other plan in mind.
“Yes, it’s a costume party! All of you are invited.”
“I’m not...” Minho stop when he saw Jinki and Jinki blinked his eyes at Minho when he decided to look up at that time and meet Minho’s gaze; Kibum realised it and smiles.
“Ooops! Minho, I don’t think you know Jinki, he’s Jonghyun’s brother, Jinki!” Kibum smirk as he patted Minho’s back.
“Jinki hyung, this is Minho. My best friend since middle school.” Minho glared at Kibum with the stare saying ‘ You knew all along!’
‘What I did not know anything! ’ Kibum gave Minho playful smirk.
“Hi!” Jinki greeted with a shy smile.
“Nice to meet you too, Jinki hyung!” That was the start of their relationship.

Jinki lay down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling when he heard a knock on the door. Jonghyun came bouncing in to the room with a big box in his hands and sat down on the bed beside Jinki.
“Hyung, there is a package for you!” Jonghyun handed the box to his brother.
“For me?” Jinki frowned as he sat up and faced Jonghyun.
“Yup! What is it? Open up I want to see too!” Jonghyun spoke as he watches Jinki peel open the wrapping.
“Be patient, Jjong!” Jinki open up the box and both of them peer inside the box and gasp.
“It that a dress!” Jinki frowned and look at his brother.
“I....think so...why would someone want to sent you a gown? ...But you didn’t know what to wear for the party right.” Jonghyun said.
“But this is a dress! You don’t expect me to wear this do you?” Jinki look at Jonghyun weirdly as if he had just grown a second head.
“No one will know it is you, it is a mask ball after all!” Jonghyun voiced.
“It will be embarrassing if someone knows!” Jinki blush as he think about a certain person.
“I won’t tell anyone...” Jonghyun promised.
“What are you going to wear?”
“Well,I’m not going to tell you!” Jonghyun smirked and Jinki frowned.
“You’re mean!”Jinki pouted.
“Why don’t you try it on first and let me have a look at it before you decide whether to wear it or not” Jonghyun pushed Jinki out of bed and dragged him to the bathroom.
“Jonghyunie!” Jinki tried to protest.
“Just go hyung.” Jonghyun closed the bathroom door.
Five minutes later...
Jinki blinked at the person in the mirror before he turns to his brother Jonghyun who was now gaping at him, “How do I look?”
“Well, it’s stunning and beautiful...I have fallen for you hyung!” Jonghyun said out loud as he glomped Jinki. Jinki gasp at the sudden weight as he nearly fall flat on the floor. Which luckily he didn’t, he had no idea what will he do if he tear the dress apart by his clumsiness.
“Jjong, get off me!” Jinki whined.
“No need to think much, Hyung, just wear it. You will be the Cinderella at the ball once you arrived there!”
“...but I don’t want to be the Cinderella!” Jinki protest as Jonghyun laughed.

Two days later, it was finally Christmas Eve, where they will be attending Kibum’s family Christmas party. Jonghyun made a phone call, before he walked out of his room, “Yeboseyo! Taemin ah! How is the preparation?”
“You don’t have to worry hyung!You can count on me!” Taemin smirked on the other line.
“I know I can count on you! See you later.”
“Sure bye!”

Jinki bit his lip as he carried his gown with his left hand, looking at the scene in front of him with his arm linked with Jonghyun’s who was wearing a knight suit,black with gold thread in color which was elegant and yet beautiful. Jonghyun smiled at his brother’s antics, “Eunsook Nuna ah! Stop shivering!”
“What did you just call me?” Jinki gave Jonghyun a glare.
“I called you Eunsook! You don’t want me to call you by your real name right? You are a girl right now!” Jonghyun remind Jinki.
“Tell me why i have to wear this dress again?” Jinki sulked. Jonghyun smile under his masked.
“Well, because you didn’t have anything to wear and the dress suited you better.” Jonghyun reasoned. Jinki sighed as he looked up when he meet a hot gaze staring at him from the opposite side of the room. Jinki blushed when he realised that both of them are staring at each other. Jinki broke their gaze when Jonghyun decided to leave him and find his lover, Kibum.
“Eunsook Nuna, will you be fine if I left you to find Kibum?” Jonghyun gave Jinki a worried look.
“Does my answer really matters? You are still going to leave me even if I say yes!” Jinki gave Jonghyun a pout. Jonghyun smiled brightly and answer childishly, “Nobody knows me the best!” Jonghyun gave Jinki a kiss on the cheeks before he walks away leaving Jinki at the entrance. Silly Jonghyun, Jinki scolded in his mind.
Jinki look around the ballroom and sigh, this is going to be a long night! Why is he here anyway? Oh. Right because Jonghyun wants him to come. Jinki was going to find a place to sit when someone stood in front of him and blocks his way, he looks up and blushes when he realises it was that guy who met his gaze.
Five minutes ago...
A man in a white shining suit with a matching white feathery mask was standing at a corner of the room, looking around the party without any interest, he had a bored expression on his face from the moment he stepped into the ballroom; not that the people here can see his face. Just when he had enough of the boring party, someone caught his eye.
He had no idea why but from the moment he saw that girl stepping in, his heart had been beating really fast, as if it was going to jump out from his body, and his heart had nearly stopped when their eyes meet. A small smile form on the man’s lips when the girl broke their gaze and blushed.

The man walked up to the girl; blocking the girl’s way; his heart was beating fast for an unknown reason. There is only one person in this world that make his heart beats so fast and that is Jinki hyung. He had fallen for the older when they first met, where Jinki hyung and him had an accident in the college hallway and the older had fallen on top of him. He stills remember it clearly like it was yesterday.
But why this girl is giving him this feeling too, that when he remember earlier that day, he receive a weird message before he was going to attend the party...

Minho stared at his phone,” What is this! ” Minho didn’t really put this message in his heart, but now, he is not sure anymore, maybe someone out there really wanted to help him. Then, does that mean this girl is Jinki hyung?”

The DJ was playing soft jazz, it puts the party atmosphere into a relaxing mood so people make small talk with each other; eating light food while enjoying each others presence. Jonghyun look around the crowd trying to find Kibum, he didn’t take long to find his lover in the crowd, even though they didn’t tell each other what are they going to wear that day, Jonghyun just have the feeling that the person wearing red was his lover, without futher ado , Jonghyun hug Kibum from behind.
The person gasped and then relaxed into Jonghyun’s embrace; Jonghyun smiled and know he make the right decision.
“How did you know it was me?” Kibum asked in Jonghyun’s embrace.
“I just know it!” Jonghyun kissed Kibum’s neck.
“What will you do if you didn’t found me?” Kibum turn around to face Jonghyun. Jonghyun kiss Kibum on the lips before he answers.
“I will...!” Jonghyun answer in confidence. Jonghyun held Kibum’s smaller hands in his. Kibum looked at Jonghyun with a frown, wondering what was Jonghyun going to do.
“Stay here! Don’t move away! I’ll be right back.” Jonghyun mades Kibum stand where he was and he walked away.

“Can I have a dance with you?” The man took out his hand and bow to Eunsook like a gentleman.
“Emm, sure!” Jinki took the man’s hand and blushed as the man lead Jinki to the dance floor. Jinki awkwardly put his left hand on the man’s shoulder while he put his right hand on top of the man’s left hand. Surprisingly there aren’t any awkward feeling when the man lead Jinki to a slow dance.
Jinki love the dance that they were having. When Jinki felt comfortable about the dance, the man hugs him, where he suddenly felt familiar with the embrace.
“Jinki!” Minho whispered.
“Minho!” Jinki whispered unconsiously. Jinki instantly leave Minho’s embrace and he gasped when he realized that feeling that he was having just now was the same when he first meet Minho.

Jonghyun ran toward the small stage after he told Kibum to stand still on the place where he left him. Kibum curiously watches Jonghyun walk away as Jonghyun stands on the stage with the microphone. Jonghyun gave the DJ a glance and the music change. Jonghyun look at Kibum intensively before he gave Kibum a soft smile.
“Excuse me! May I have your attention please, I’m going to sing my lover a song that I composed for his Christmas present. Please cheer for us.” Jonghyun gave Kibum a big smile before he sang.

Kibum cried when he heard Jonghyun start singing to him while everyone cheers for them.

Right then, Minho rush out after Jinki, “Jinki, wait!” Minho called out desperately.
“Why, Minho? Let go!” Minho catches Jinki’s arm before he ran too far, they were just outside the garden and can still hear Jonghyun sing to Kibum.

“I’m sorry, I should have told you that I know it all along! From the moment you step in to the party, I already know it was you!” Minho turns Jinki around and meets with a teary Jinki. Jinki lower his head; not wanting to meet Minho’s gaze.
“It not your fault, I’m just too dense to realize it was you.” Jinki mumble.
Minho heart’s clenched, hating himself that he had just hurt the one that he love. Minho lifted Jinki’s chin to face him and lean in to kiss Jinki on the lips. Jinki’s eyes widen when Minho kisses him.
“I’m sorry! Will you forgive me and be my boyfriend?” Minho asked Jinki when Minho lean his forehead on top of Jinki’s.
“I…I’d love to!” Jinki laid his head on Minho’s chest and smile shyly.
“YES!” Minho shouted happily while carry Jinki from the ground and spin Jinki around.
“Minho!” Jinki giggles at Minho’s childish act.
“I’m so in love with you, hyung!”
“I love you too!” Jinki whispered in Minho’s ears.

Kibum look at Taemin before he gave the younger a smile before he ran towards the stage and gave Jonghyun a tight hug as all the people cheered for them.

Jonghyun ended the song by kissing Kibum on the lips and got the loudest cheer, while Kibum hit Jonghyun on the chest for being cheesy.Minho and Jinki were glad that Jonghyun had made the best Christmas present for Kibum while feeling content and lucky to find each other and fall in love in this cold but lovely season.

It was freezing out there, you won’t want to go out of you comfy house or even your dorm, but when the electricity went off again, leaving you at the dark, it always make you freak out, even if you are not going to admit it out loud.
Knock Knock...
Kibum looked around in the dark and cursed under his breath, walking toward the door, kicking and bumping some of the things that were in his way to the door and opened it to reveal a panting Jonghyun, his boyfriend, holding one plastic bag in his left hand and a mini torch on his right, “What took you so long?”
“Why you have to be so mean to your boyfriend. It’s dark here, it lucky that i have brought my mini torch light, i can’t even see with my torch light, it was so dark... I even bought your favorite coffee that you asked for! I risk my life going out in the freezing cold just to get you your coffee and you didn’t give me a hug ok a kiss for victorious acomplishment!” Jonghyun say out dramatically.
Kibum glared at his boyfriend before he sighed; walking up to Jonghyun and giving him a tight hug,”I’m sorry for being a ‘bitch’.”
“Oh, my Key is being lovey-dovey all of a sudden but i love it.” Jonghyun kissed Kibum on the forehead but Kibum hit Jonghyun on the chest.
“Hey! That hurts, i may crack like the ice scrupture.” Jonghyun laugh.
“Stop talking Jjong!” Kibum kiss Jonghyun on the lips in the dark, not minding that he was in the dark, as long as he was with Jonghyun.

Kibum looked at his watch and cursed under his breath, he shiver under his white thick jacket. He felt stupid. Who in the right mind would stand in the middle of the cold to wait for someone. He curse again while looking at his watch for the nth time for the past fifteen minutes, he finally snapped and decided to leave.
Meanwhile, half an hour earlier....
Jonghyun march into a room and shouted, “Rise and shine...Hyung come on, we are late!” Jonghyun dug under the pile of blankets until he found his brother under it.
“Umma, five more minutes...” Jinki mumble under his blanket. Jonghyun smile at his brother’s cute gesture before the smile turned into a smirk.
He reaches his hand under the blanket, and waited, “Ha...haha...Stop Jjong!...Ok I’m up...I’m up...stop!” Jinki woke up in a flash when his brother started to tickles him under the blanket.
“Jjongie, do you really have to do that!” Jinki pouted at his brother.
“It’s the only and fastest way to wake you up.” Jonghyun smirked.
“You are so mean!”
“You were the one who wanted me to wake you up, so that you can report yourself to the college early in the morning... even though I don’t know why you’re in such a hurry!” Jonghyun complained.
“You know how much I love study...one day without reading books make me sick!” Jinki whined as he lay his body on Jonghyun’s lap.
“Yeah...Yeah...I know you are a book worm.” Jonghyun hit Jinki’s shoulder and said, “Come on we are really late!”

Kibum turned around when he heard someone calling him. When he turn around, he saw his boyfriend running toward him with another guy, when he realised who the guy was, he gasped,” Jinki hyung! Why are you here?....I mean when did you come back?”
“Kibumie!” Jinki smile brightly at his childhood friend, he inhaled and exhaled heavily as he had just run all the way from their house with Jonghyun pulling him along the way.
“Why?” Key look at his boyfriend.
“He just came back yesterday without telling us....very early in the morning, I found him sitting by the door, if I didn’t go back home late in the morning, he would have had to sit by the door the whole night without telling us!” Jonghyun explained.
“Why?” Kibum asked again.
“I just want to complete my final year studies here!” Jinki explained as they walked towards the school compound.
“But you love it there! You say it was the perfect place to study.” Kibum furrowed his eyebrows looking at Jinki.
“I love here too and you guys!” Jinki gave Kibum a smile and pinched Jonghyun on the cheek which earned him a glare from his brother.
“Hyung, that hurts!” Jonghyun rub his cheeks.
“Well, I have something to take care off in the school office, see you guys later.” Jinki bid both of them goodbye and walked toward the school building.
“Be carefull where you... go!” Jonghyun shouted but seconds later they saw Jinki trip on thin air and land flat on the pavement. Jonghyun sighed while Kibum shook his head in disbelief.
“He didn’t change at all! Did he?” Kibum voiced.
“Yeah..no at all!” Jonghyun nodded his head in agreement as he watches Jinki walking away, waving at them for the last time.

Jinki hummed a tune that he had just thought up as he walked along the corridor with a stack of books that he had borrowed from the college library. He was so absorbed in the book that he didn’t realise that people were walking out from the near by class.
Minho, who was in a hurry for his next class, packed his books in a flash and stepped out of the class, he turned right to a corner which was just outside the classroom and knocked into someone; causing their books and bags to be thrown in all directions. Minho whimpered as the person that he bumped into had fallen on top of him.
Minho looks up and gasp as he looks into a pair of beautiful dark brown orbs looking back at him with confusion, Minho gulped on his saliva when he realize that both of them were in an awkward position where Minho was holding that person’s waist while that guy’s right hand was on his chest,he felt turned on by this position, making him blush.
Jinki looked up but all he saw is in a blur without his glasses on, so it took him a few second to realise that he was staring up at the guy that he had landed on, really up close until he can feel the breath of the other guy on his face, he got up and apologises without knowing the feeling that he had given to the other.
Minho looked at the other and apologises too, as they tried to gather their scattered belongings. Jinki look around for his glasses by squatting down and touching the floor, Minho who realize it had instantly found the glassess in the second, which was just behind the other’s feet.
Minho walks over and makes Jinki stand up as Jinki gasp at the sudden contact on the waist, “Oh! What...”
“‘Don’t move! I found your glassess.” Minho bend down and pick up the glasses from the floor and helps Jinki wear them.” Jinki blinks at the adjustment of sight when Minho helps him to put his glasses on. Jinki smile when he can see clearly after he wore his glassess.
Jinki looked up at met Minho’s gaze for the first time, he gave Minho a big smile and said. “ Thank you and sorry for bumping into you!” Jinki bow as he apologises.
“It’s alright, it’s my fault too!” Minho reply as he too bow back at Jinki.

Kibum came out from his class as he walk towards his next destination, he saw someone familiar, he was going to call out the name when he notice something strange.Kibum furrow his neat and beautiful eyebrow as he tried to analyse the look and body language that his best friend was emitting after Jinki, Jonghyun’s brother walk away from his sight.
“Minho!” Kibum called out for his best friend after he watches Jinki walk away.
“Yeah!” Minho said absentmindedly as he tried to secure his belonging in his embrace.
“What are you doing?”
“Nothing!”
“You’re lying!” Kibum rolled his eyes at Minho’s answer.
“It’s nothing!” Minho assured him as he walks toward his next class with Kibum tailling behind him. Minho doesn’t want Kibum to know everthing even the prediction that his best friend might have seen something earlier.
“Your expression doesn’t say so.” Key tried again.
“For god’s sake Kibum, stop asking!” Minho said annoyingly.
“Oh my god!” Kibum squeal as he patted Minho on the back and nodded his head; Minho look at his best friend like he was insane.
“What!” Minho hiss.
“Oh,I don’t know... our famous captain of soccer and basketball team is in love!” Kibum smirked at his friend as he entered the classroom.
“I’m not!” Minho argued back.
“You are!” Kibum sat on his place
“Are not!” Minho sat behind Key.
“Are too!” Key sang, as he turn toward Minho who was sitting behind him.
“I am not!” Minho argued back.
“Don’t worry Minho! I will help you for sure, leave it to me!”
“What...no....don’t do anything stupid, I don’t need your help!” Minho warned as he gave his best friend an angry glare.
“Don’t be shy Minho, I know how to help!” Kibum said happily.
“How are you going to help? You don’t even know him or who he is?” Minho argued.
“Don’t worry, leave it all to me!”
“...I’m doomed...” Minho mumbled as the professor came into the class to start the class for the day.

The stadium was crowded with student’s as a friendly competition was held there. Taemin cheered as he watched Minho score another point after stealing the ball from the rival group and shot the ball in the net with perfect accuracy before his rival tried to steal the ball from him. Taemin was sitting on the bench with Jonghyun beside him but he wasn’t as excited as Taemin who was cheering and shouting for Minho all the time.
“Minho hyung! Hwaiting...” Taemin shouted towards Minho as he watches Minho wave at him when he shouted his cheers.
“...Taemin ah...” Jonghyun whined. Taemin wave back towards Minho as he turned towards Jonghyun and furrowed his eyebrows.
“What is it, hyung? You have been acting very strange since this morning.” Taemin eyed Jonghyun weirdly, expecting Jonghyun to spill the beans.
“Speak up! What’s wrong?” Taemin urged. Jonghyun looked at Taemin and then he sighed before looking back at his lap.
“Christmas is coming!” Jonghyun whisper.
“I’m sorry can you speak louder, I can’t hear anything!” Taemin tried to lean closer to Jonghyun.
“I said Chistmas is coming!” Jonghyun speak louder this time.
“So? Is there something wrong with the festival?” Taemin gave Jonghyun a confuse stared before he turned his gaze back to the basketball competition.
“What’s wrong with Christmas? You can tell me whats wrong with it? Why do we have to give presents in this day? Wae?” Jonghyun said out in his desparate voice as he pull his hair.
“You still haven’t prepare your present for Kibum hyung right? That why you are whining here.” Taemin shake his head as a sign of disapproval. Jonghyun gave Taemin a blank stare before he sighed in defeat.
“Don’t worry hyung!I will try to help you like last year.” Jonghyun looked up and gave his most shining smile to Taemin and hugged the younger in a bone crushing hug which caused Taemin to cry out in pain.
“Oh, hyung stop it, I can’t breath!” Taemin whined.
“Thank you...Thank you, Taeminie, you are my life saver.” Jonghyun said out loud.

The cafeteria was full of hungry people, all the lines were long, Jinki had got to the front with high hope to buy his favourite chicken chop from the stall but in the end his hope got crushed when he was told that all the dishes had been sold out and ‘all the food that had chicken in it’ too. Jinki slumped his shoulder as he walk aimlessly to an empty place and sat down sadly; sighing.
Meanwhile, Kibum draged Minho out of the class as soon as it ended, walking towards the destination that only Kibum knows. Kibum took out his phone and dialedl the number that he remembered by heart, after waiting for a second when the other end was picked up he said, “Jjong meet me at the cafeteria and be quick!”
“Kibum! I need to go practice.” Minho begged.
“No, I know that you are running away.” Kibum say sternly.
“I really do have basket ball practice to attend, there will be a competion going on in a week!”
“No, just trust me this time, you won’t want to miss this!” Kibum gave Minho a smirk.
“What are you up to this time?” Kibum’s smirk gave him the shivers.
“Nothing!” Kibum smile to himself.

Jonghyun and Taemin had reached the cafeteria together, when they met half way on the journey there, Jonghyun scan the place as he spotted a person that brought smile to his face, before he spring toward that person, he grabbed Taemin’s hand along the way, which gave Taemin a shock at the sudden tug.
“...(Gasp)...What!...” Taemin was pulled toward a direction, when they reach their destination, Jonghyun forced Taemin to sit and took a seat opposite him. It took Taemin a few seconds to realise who was in front of him.
“Jinki hyung!” Taemin said out.
“Hyung, why are you so gloomy? Did someone steal your chicken?” Jinki look up at his brother who had suddenly appeared beside him; Jinki didn’t answer Jonghyun, instead he lower his head again sadly, when the sound of his stomach growling was heard from Jinki. Jonghyun laughed and Taemin giggled at the same time.
“I need food, chicken! I need energy to think, so that I can write my final year thesis.” Jinki mumbled to himself.
Before Jonghyun could answer Jinki, another voice was heard, “Jonghyun! Jinki hyung!” Kibum said out loud. Minho stumbled behind Kibum when both of them finally reached their destination and Kibum had finally decided let go of his hand.
“Now that we are all here, I have something to discuss about the up coming Christmas party that my family is having.” Kibum said out loud.
“There is a party!” Jonghyun’s smiliing face had become crestfallen at the sudden information because he had other plan in mind.
“Yes, it’s a costume party! All of you are invited.”
“I’m not...” Minho stop when he saw Jinki and Jinki blinked his eyes at Minho when he decided to look up at that time and meet Minho’s gaze; Kibum realised it and smiles.
“Ooops! Minho, I don’t think you know Jinki, he’s Jonghyun’s brother, Jinki!” Kibum smirk as he patted Minho’s back.
“Jinki hyung, this is Minho. My best friend since middle school.” Minho glared at Kibum with the stare saying ‘ You knew all along!’
‘What I did not know anything! ’ Kibum gave Minho playful smirk.
“Hi!” Jinki greeted with a shy smile.
“Nice to meet you too, Jinki hyung!” That was the start of their relationship.

Jinki lay down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling when he heard a knock on the door. Jonghyun came bouncing in to the room with a big box in his hands and sat down on the bed beside Jinki.
“Hyung, there is a package for you!” Jonghyun handed the box to his brother.
“For me?” Jinki frowned as he sat up and faced Jonghyun.
“Yup! What is it? Open up I want to see too!” Jonghyun spoke as he watches Jinki peel open the wrapping.
“Be patient, Jjong!” Jinki open up the box and both of them peer inside the box and gasp.
“It that a dress!” Jinki frowned and look at his brother.
“I....think so...why would someone want to sent you a gown? ...But you didn’t know what to wear for the party right.” Jonghyun said.
“But this is a dress! You don’t expect me to wear this do you?” Jinki look at Jonghyun weirdly as if he had just grown a second head.
“No one will know it is you, it is a mask ball after all!” Jonghyun voiced.
“It will be embarrassing if someone knows!” Jinki blush as he think about a certain person.
“I won’t tell anyone...” Jonghyun promised.
“What are you going to wear?”
“Well,I’m not going to tell you!” Jonghyun smirked and Jinki frowned.
“You’re mean!”Jinki pouted.
“Why don’t you try it on first and let me have a look at it before you decide whether to wear it or not” Jonghyun pushed Jinki out of bed and dragged him to the bathroom.
“Jonghyunie!” Jinki tried to protest.
“Just go hyung.” Jonghyun closed the bathroom door.
Five minutes later...
Jinki blinked at the person in the mirror before he turns to his brother Jonghyun who was now gaping at him, “How do I look?”
“Well, it’s stunning and beautiful...I have fallen for you hyung!” Jonghyun said out loud as he glomped Jinki. Jinki gasp at the sudden weight as he nearly fall flat on the floor. Which luckily he didn’t, he had no idea what will he do if he tear the dress apart by his clumsiness.
“Jjong, get off me!” Jinki whined.
“No need to think much, Hyung, just wear it. You will be the Cinderella at the ball once you arrived there!”
“...but I don’t want to be the Cinderella!” Jinki protest as Jonghyun laughed.

Two days later, it was finally Christmas Eve, where they will be attending Kibum’s family Christmas party. Jonghyun made a phone call, before he walked out of his room, “Yeboseyo! Taemin ah! How is the preparation?”
“You don’t have to worry hyung!You can count on me!” Taemin smirked on the other line.
“I know I can count on you! See you later.”
“Sure bye!”

Jinki bit his lip as he carried his gown with his left hand, looking at the scene in front of him with his arm linked with Jonghyun’s who was wearing a knight suit,black with gold thread in color which was elegant and yet beautiful. Jonghyun smiled at his brother’s antics, “Eunsook Nuna ah! Stop shivering!”
“What did you just call me?” Jinki gave Jonghyun a glare.
“I called you Eunsook! You don’t want me to call you by your real name right? You are a girl right now!” Jonghyun remind Jinki.
“Tell me why i have to wear this dress again?” Jinki sulked. Jonghyun smile under his masked.
“Well, because you didn’t have anything to wear and the dress suited you better.” Jonghyun reasoned. Jinki sighed as he looked up when he meet a hot gaze staring at him from the opposite side of the room. Jinki blushed when he realised that both of them are staring at each other. Jinki broke their gaze when Jonghyun decided to leave him and find his lover, Kibum.
“Eunsook Nuna, will you be fine if I left you to find Kibum?” Jonghyun gave Jinki a worried look.
“Does my answer really matters? You are still going to leave me even if I say yes!” Jinki gave Jonghyun a pout. Jonghyun smiled brightly and answer childishly, “Nobody knows me the best!” Jonghyun gave Jinki a kiss on the cheeks before he walks away leaving Jinki at the entrance. Silly Jonghyun, Jinki scolded in his mind.
Jinki look around the ballroom and sigh, this is going to be a long night! Why is he here anyway? Oh. Right because Jonghyun wants him to come. Jinki was going to find a place to sit when someone stood in front of him and blocks his way, he looks up and blushes when he realises it was that guy who met his gaze.
Five minutes ago...
A man in a white shining suit with a matching white feathery mask was standing at a corner of the room, looking around the party without any interest, he had a bored expression on his face from the moment he stepped into the ballroom; not that the people here can see his face. Just when he had enough of the boring party, someone caught his eye.
He had no idea why but from the moment he saw that girl stepping in, his heart had been beating really fast, as if it was going to jump out from his body, and his heart had nearly stopped when their eyes meet. A small smile form on the man’s lips when the girl broke their gaze and blushed.

The man walked up to the girl; blocking the girl’s way; his heart was beating fast for an unknown reason. There is only one person in this world that make his heart beats so fast and that is Jinki hyung. He had fallen for the older when they first met, where Jinki hyung and him had an accident in the college hallway and the older had fallen on top of him. He stills remember it clearly like it was yesterday.
But why this girl is giving him this feeling too, that when he remember earlier that day, he receive a weird message before he was going to attend the party...

Minho stared at his phone,” What is this! ” Minho didn’t really put this message in his heart, but now, he is not sure anymore, maybe someone out there really wanted to help him. Then, does that mean this girl is Jinki hyung?”

The DJ was playing soft jazz, it puts the party atmosphere into a relaxing mood so people make small talk with each other; eating light food while enjoying each others presence. Jonghyun look around the crowd trying to find Kibum, he didn’t take long to find his lover in the crowd, even though they didn’t tell each other what are they going to wear that day, Jonghyun just have the feeling that the person wearing red was his lover, without futher ado , Jonghyun hug Kibum from behind.
The person gasped and then relaxed into Jonghyun’s embrace; Jonghyun smiled and know he make the right decision.
“How did you know it was me?” Kibum asked in Jonghyun’s embrace.
“I just know it!” Jonghyun kissed Kibum’s neck.
“What will you do if you didn’t found me?” Kibum turn around to face Jonghyun. Jonghyun kiss Kibum on the lips before he answers.
“I will...!” Jonghyun answer in confidence. Jonghyun held Kibum’s smaller hands in his. Kibum looked at Jonghyun with a frown, wondering what was Jonghyun going to do.
“Stay here! Don’t move away! I’ll be right back.” Jonghyun mades Kibum stand where he was and he walked away.

“Can I have a dance with you?” The man took out his hand and bow to Eunsook like a gentleman.
“Emm, sure!” Jinki took the man’s hand and blushed as the man lead Jinki to the dance floor. Jinki awkwardly put his left hand on the man’s shoulder while he put his right hand on top of the man’s left hand. Surprisingly there aren’t any awkward feeling when the man lead Jinki to a slow dance.
Jinki love the dance that they were having. When Jinki felt comfortable about the dance, the man hugs him, where he suddenly felt familiar with the embrace.
“Jinki!” Minho whispered.
“Minho!” Jinki whispered unconsiously. Jinki instantly leave Minho’s embrace and he gasped when he realized that feeling that he was having just now was the same when he first meet Minho.

Jonghyun ran toward the small stage after he told Kibum to stand still on the place where he left him. Kibum curiously watches Jonghyun walk away as Jonghyun stands on the stage with the microphone. Jonghyun gave the DJ a glance and the music change. Jonghyun look at Kibum intensively before he gave Kibum a soft smile.
“Excuse me! May I have your attention please, I’m going to sing my lover a song that I composed for his Christmas present. Please cheer for us.” Jonghyun gave Kibum a big smile before he sang.

Minho heart’s clenched, hating himself that he had just hurt the one that he love. Minho lifted Jinki’s chin to face him and lean in to kiss Jinki on the lips. Jinki’s eyes widen when Minho kisses him.
“I’m sorry! Will you forgive me and be my boyfriend?” Minho asked Jinki when Minho lean his forehead on top of Jinki’s.
“I…I’d love to!” Jinki laid his head on Minho’s chest and smile shyly.
“YES!” Minho shouted happily while carry Jinki from the ground and spin Jinki around.
“Minho!” Jinki giggles at Minho’s childish act.
“I’m so in love with you, hyung!”
“I love you too!” Jinki whispered in Minho’s ears.
