My roommate just left for a vacation for 10 days, and I get to use her car while she's gone. I'm so excited I could almost wet my pants, which is why I'm not wearing any. :D
First order of business, buy a proper bed. This air mattress nonsense is getting old. -

Last night I went into the city for the first meeting of a book/ writers club for 20-somethings. It was my first nighttime adventure on the buses, and I was not disappointed! Today I went to the Saturday Market. It was like a cross between Park Ave Festival and the junk sellers area of the Public Market in Rochester. It was pretty awesome though. There were a lot of really neat things for sale, but I'm cheap, so I didn't buy anything. I did buy the tastiest burrito ever from a little organic Mexican food stand. I also ( Read more... ) -

So, in my search for cool places to eat (of which there are a bajillion out here!), I found this place that's pretty famous in Portland called Voodoo Donuts. They have vegan donuts which is pretty awesome. They also have a donut called the cock-n-balls. XD
