SooYun
Is sort of in an odd place at the moment. She's getting friendlier (or at least trying to), but her heart's not in it. Her life wouldn't change much if every friend she's made so far up and said, "See you and goodbye forever!" And, as sad as it is, she really wouldn't mind. She'd feel like she failed at becoming a normal, socially well-adjusted adult, and she'd still care about those people, it just wouldn't affect her much if she wasn't in their lives. SooYun is like this floaty, detached person who likes the ideas of other people, but can't handle their reality. That sounds bullshitty, but I can't think of a better way to word it. It's like, in her head she might think 'Oh Chance/Zander/Adair/whoever is a pretty decent guy, I should hang out with him, it'll be fun, we'll do this and everything will be great.' That sort of mental preparation. But as soon as she's in their presence, she'd start getting cranky and blow up over something stupid or get defensive and leave. Then later, she'd wonder how it ever went wrong. When I first made her, I thought she could eventually get over her interaction problems, but now I'm thinking it might not happen gradually. Like, something huge or ability-based could shake her out of it, but aside from that idk. She's too stubborn to really change, I think.

Plot-wise, I would like to get her into the Nebelrose. I want her to get a little jaded and give up this idealized, 'It's all worth it if you're fighting for what you believe in!' notion. It's a little awkward having Sae NPC'd, but not unmanageable. If Mini doesn't want to reapp, though, I might pull a huge solo plot if the mods are okay with it. The basic idea is that SooYun would somehow (somehow???) learn about Sae's pact-record and flip her shit. Well, just become extremely, extremely paranoid. I'm not sure which of them have the ring that acts as their pacting object, but if Sae has it, she'd presumably have to steal it back. Then, once she had the ring, she'd use Sae's powers to jump into a newly deceased body (it wouldn't work with a live person, right?) and either break the pact (which hopefully wouldn't be what was keeping the body she'd just hopped into living) or hide the ring and just never use her powers again. Check the wiki pages on shades and pacts, but I'm not sure if Sae would be able to find her again once she jumped bodies, outside of good detective work.

But! That's just an idea. It would get her involved with the Nebelrose, though, since holy hell she'd need to approach somebody about attempted eating and switching bodies.

Lev
Lev is starting to feel like an old character. I enjoy playing him, but enough of his CR has dropped or been broken that it's a bit difficult keeping him above water. I really enjoy the CR he's kept, though, I just need to figure out how to get him fresh CR to fill in some gaps. Since his divorce, he went full hermit-mode for a few months. He oscillated between "OH GOD IZUMI IS FUCKED UP FOR LIFE I MUST BE THE BEST FATHER EVER" to um locking her in his office as he pads around the uni unshaven, unshowered and a little drunk. Life's definitely lost some of its luster, but that's understandable. I think he'll bounce back soon enough, though. He'll buy a loofah, shave his beard of sorrow and start chatting everything up again.

I enjoy the Kazuki/Sharifa/Signius CR a lot. It's light and amusing but could turn serious and dark like that. His sibling CR also makes me very happy, but at this point he'd be doing what he could to avoid Mariya out of shame and Alek out of horror. He'd fulfill Order missions he was assigned to, a faithful dog, but he doesn't care too much about the organization. It's something that's always been a part of his life and he believes that it does keep his family relatively safe.

Buuut I think it would be good for him to start drawing new CR or intensifying the CR he already has. Characters like Ruby and Alice and Ravel have pretty much dropped out of his life (since the Ravel CR I think is broken or just sort of passed), which might be a good thing for him. He can focus on trying to be a father instead of trying to party party party.

Aubrey
OH AUBREY I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU. I think I lost him a while back, honestly. He's never found a niche in the game, aside from being the target of deserved jokes. I really like him, though, even if he hasn't gotten past his ridiculous first stage. If I can get back into his head, I'd really like to play with him more. Just... I'm not sure how. Suggestions would be appreciated orz

Adam
As much as I dig him being this free radical, I think it would be cool for him to finally get or toy with the idea of taking a pact. I apped him to be this fun, totally unrealistic character, but I'm starting to wonder if I could turn him legit. He's got a lot of casual CR, but aside from Rhea and Ayse, no one that really gets at his heart. A pact would help, or maybe some sort of plot-driven conflict. Potentially, he could stir up some shit by openly trying to help both sides. I have no idea if that would work, but this bleeding-heart act he's even bought into would push him to try to help both the Order and the Nebelrose without realizing hey, they're fighting one another. But that would be contingent on the Nebelrose contacting him. He had an in with Lucifer, but I'm not sure how far that went. If it would be alright, though, I'd love to have him help both sides without going the super seekrit double-agent route. The trust-issues would probably mess him up a lot, since he wouldn't lie or choose sides unless one group did something a million times more morally disgusting than the other.

But yes, a pact! That would be cool if anybody wants to do it.
