Taemin backed up as much as possible, until there was suddenly the squeak of sneakers against the dorm’s wooden floor as his back thumped against the living room’s wall.
Finding there was nowhere else to go, Taemin swallowed nervously as he glanced back up at the concerning expression on his hyung’s face, nervous about having to face whatever motive was behind the mischievous expression on the older man’s face.
Onew’s smile was large, eyes smiling along with his lips, and yet strangely concerning, as he looked at the new adult with a look nearly identical as the look he would give a hot piece of chicken before pouncing on it.
“H-Hyung...? Wh-why are you staring at me l-like that?” Taemin finally found the breath to ask, voice little and light as he swallowed hard again.
“You’re eighteen.” Was the simple response from the older man, as he took a step closer towards the younger, forcing the other to lean more against the wall.
“Y-yes. I-I am. B-but, wh-why are you staring at me like that though?” Taemin attempted to get a reasonable answer out of the older man, but seemed unsuccessful as the other just continued staring at him intensely.
“You’re an adult.”
“...A-and?”
“You’re legal.”
Taemin’s eyes widened to the size of apples as he realized what the older man had implied before Onew’s shadow suddenly over-took him as the older man pounced.
