I looked up pictures of Patrick and wow, I wouldn't have recognized him as Chuck. Willard is awesome. The sequence of him learning to dance, in both versions, is the best.

I just came back from Word on the Street with a bunch of books. I really love this festival.

I didn't buy any books (a) I have too many and (b) I was looking for Penguin Classics newest series but was surprised Penguin had very little product. I did buy a magnet from a local (I'm assuming) cartoonist so that was my contribution to the local arts ;)

Did you get caught in the rain? It started just as I was getting home.

I was surprised Penguin didn't have much there this year. I usually splurge at the Harelquin table and Harpercollins.

I missed the rain completely. I usually get there just before it opens to avoid the crowds. It makes it easier to browse the tables.

The Harlequin table had really good deals. It was like $2 per book, wasn't it? Too bad I'm not a romance fan (the one exception is Julie Garwood but only her historical romance stuff, not her modern stuff). Ahhh, you were smart. I got there about 11:30 and stayed for about 90 mins.
