new addition to the family

I'm going to be an aunt! To a niece!! She's past the 3-month period so I can talk about it now :) Due date is early March so that means (a) she'll be a Pisces (like me!) and (b) she'll be a snake.

When I first saw the ultrasound, I was totally Friends!Rachel and was all "I can't see it!" Of course, now, it's clear as day :D

Are they sure it's not a boy without a penis? Expectant moms love to hear that one :D

Thanks! I've heard stories where, because of the positioning of the baby during the ultrasound, sometimes the penis is blocked so they think it's a girl and then surprise! it's a boy! But my brother says it's 100% a girl because they saw the "3 lines"? I'm guessing he's referring to bone growth in the genital area or something?

Congratulations! Being an aunt is awesome! They were certain my first nephew was a girl until a month before he was born. Either way, it'll be fun times for you. :)

Thanks! Definitely looking forward to being. First grandchild on both sides and first great-grandchild for my maternal grandma (I don't know about her side on that one) so I'm thinking this is going to be one spoiled little girl LOL
