I'm completely hooked, I can't wait for the next instalment. I really want to know what happened to his son after he was born, why he didn't know Jim when he came to visit him. It's looking suspiciously like he was put up for adoption. Now obviously adoption can be the sensible choice in certain situations, but knowing how Jim turns his life around (and of course the fact I'm madly in love with him!) makes my heart ache to think he'll not get to be a part of his child's life. I can't wait to see what happens, how they survive the tornado (I assume it was a tornado you were describing), what happens to the baby, and how it affect Jim in the long term and of course the whole Jim/Bones stuff. Yup, I would say you have pretty effectively caught my interest!

Oh yes, also: Nicely written, not just the plot but your writing style and characterisation. I can somehow completely believe Jim would be such a stupid, stubborn, sullen teenager for all his intellect!
