chiharu It always starts the same way, that’s how Onew knows it’s coming. He’s standing somewhere he recognizes, the pang of familiarity dawning on him when the stranger enters. The stranger is a little different every time, but one thing consistent in every dream is his smile, and he’s oh so happy. Sometimes Onew is sitting on the subway across from him, headphones plugged in as he stares into the distance. Sometimes Onew is walking back from school, still glad in his academy uniform when he sees him crossing the street. One thing, however, is for sure. The stranger always notices him, his smile confused with an approaching frown, and that’s when Onew realizes that he is staring at Lee Jinki. darling / 2min (nc17)

noruwei Minho’s grip is warm and strong, callused. His hand is big enough to swallow Taemin’s. “I’m Taemin,” Taemin offers softly, and for a moment they both stand there, suspended in the moment, neither of them inclined to let go first. Then Minho seems to snap out of it and he pulls away with an embarrassed smile. “I’m sorry, are we keeping you from school?”
Taemin blinks, dazed, and then finds his bearings. “Oh, yeah. I better go. By the way,” he says as Minho sets Yoogeun down and crouches beside him, fitting on his shoes. Minho turns.
“Uh… your suit is inside out.”
Minho freezes, his eyes snapping down to his suit. Taemin turns around and pretends not to see how the tips of his ears flame, but all the way to school he can’t stop biting back his laughter.

jarnscye “I mean-” Jinki blushes. “You have dog food. In your hands.”
Now, Jonghyun’s never been the type to judge someone so quickly (though others would love to prove this wrong) but considering how he does not have dog food in his hands, it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow.

static_abyss Jinki chose to bury himself in books, to learn as much as he could so that even if he was different, he was the good kind of different. Minho chose to delve into sports, quidditch, be good at that. And he was good, the kind of good that got him contracts even while he was still at school so that Jinki not only had to deal with the gaggle of girls, but the circle of adoring fanboys too.
He didn’t think, when they were at school, that Minho would ever look at him the way Jinki looked at Minho. Minho was all leg and long hair that he liked to tie back into a ponytail so that Jinki used to think that he'd have something to hold onto if anything ever happened. Not that he was expecting it, because he was Jinki, know-it-all prefect and Minho, as much of a friend as he was, was a quidditch player.
It was unexpected, so much so, that when Minho asked Jinki out, he dropped his books, choked on non-existent moisture in his mouth and had to ask Minho to repeat himself.
Twice.
