The main character is a total asshole though. The entire story is written as though it's in retrospect, and he comments a lot on how stupid he was before everything first started. He's so self-centered and narcissistic in the beginning, and he's cheating on his girlfriend with some other woman who obviously has issues.

I'm kind of wondering how people will receive him.
