So my little betta fish is doing much better. He is now eating 3x a day. Of course he needs to regain what he lost and then some. I'm hoping to put him back in his tank tomorrow or Tuesday. I cleaned and treated the tank for parasites (which I think is what it was). I'm trying to fatten him up again as he lot quite a bit of weight. He is swimming ( Read more... )

So last weekend, I decided to buy a new fish tank because the old one had some form of algae/bacteria problem that I couldn't get rid of for the life of me. Its a good thing that I did have vacation for the last two weeks. But on the other hand, I didn't get a vacation. My mother ended up breaking her ankle the day after christmas so I've been the nurse and house sitter. I need a vacation from vacation. I've disappeared from many things lately but I actually have very good reasons. First and foremost, I've had sick pets the ENTIRE month of October. I still haven't carved my pumpkins but they will get done. My puppy was diagnosed with distemper. She's on 3 meds and seems to be okay thus far. We have two more weeks and then another vet visit.
