There is definitely a massive spike drawn between the two sides.
I'm mostly on the right side. I don't like what this coalition is doing. It is sneaky, vengeful and inappropriate considering they're shaking hangs and making a formal agreement that relies on separatist support. The Bloc will want special favours for their support, which only further weakens national unity. This whole thing also leads to a feeling of alienation, particularly in western Canada, where conservative minded people feel constantly ignored and mistreated by left-wingers in Ottawa. This has been ongoing for many years. This doesn't help the situation much. I imagine Alberta might just politely ignore Ottawa if Dion becomes PM.
