I awoke with a start and looked around to get my bearings. I appeared to have fallen asleep curled in the chair by the fireplace in Wesley's cabin, though the fire had long since been reduced to embers. And wow, was it ever cold. My muscles felt stiff and I sensed someone stirring. Listening closely I was able to inferr that it was Tara. Hearing her awaken and get up was a beautiful sound. I glanced around to see how the other sleepers were doing and I also thought about Illyria.
I awakened fully when the heat of the blazing fire that Tara had made reached my skin. I smiled and stretched my legs enjoying the joyful sensation my muscles made. I rested my hands on my legs and nodded to her. "Good Morning Tara."

"Morning, Wesley. The s-stew will be warm in a few minutes if you'd like breakfast. I d-didn't know what else there was, food-wise. So what's the p-plan for all of us today?"

I expected a battle today but I didn't want them to be all tense about it.

"They? Who are they... And... Why do you smell nervous?"
I eye Wesley suspiciously.

I stretched my limbs and took in deep breaths. I could also hear the crackling of the fire; it was a most soothing sound. It made me smile. As I got up, I let the warmth of the fire warm my skin.
I got up and walked towards Wesley and Tara. "Good morning," I said in a firm voice.
The smell of the stew filled the air. I walked over to it and smiled at Tara and Wesley ad I passed them by. I served myself some soup and sat next to Wesley, and savored the deliciousness of the soup.
"They? Who are they... And... Why do you smell nervous?"
After taking the first taste, I looked up to find Oz, quite awake.
