I'm really happy...my mom's dog, Kira, is one of the most adorable kanines you could ever hope to meet. And I know I can be trusted on this, because while I appreciate dogs and most animals, I am not really a "dog person." It's not fair to you or the dog.
Wait until you're done with school and have a steady job which will pay for food and vet bills. It's a long term commitment. With the way life is these days some people have dogs that live longer than their marriages.
So don't just jump into this. I too love puppies and all things fuzzy.
If you really have to scratch that itch, volunteer at your local shelter on the weekends cleaning up and excercising the dogs for few hours.
That'll put you right.

Well I don't want a dog NOW. lol. I don't even really want a dog!!! If I COULD have my way, I'd have a kittie anyway. :)

wahahahahaha...good about the local shelter suggestion. I have always thought dogs are too much trouble anyway. if I don't want kids, why would I want a dog? LOL

LOL by the way, you're going to have to get to know me a little better...I have TONS of impulsive ideas. Don't take me seriously. Just because I say something seems like a good idea, doesn't mean it's something I'm going to do! lol in fact, rarely is that the case. Just so you know. :)
