That poem was SO on the A.P. English Lit. exam. Just reading it brings up bad memories of sitting akwardly close to other frantically scribbling high school seniors all crammed onto benches in our high schools multi purpose room.

i loved it though, so much to the point where a half-delirious-on-tylenol (all i really recall about the AP English Lit exam was that i was really, really ill) paused(!) in her taking of the exam to admire it. there was one of the practise short stories that we read that i really liked, as well. i totally put that up there to send shivers down the spines of everyone who went through the ropes last year :P
