the internet has a strange effect on some people. mainly guys. it makes them feel cooler and more empowering than they really are. so the guy probably thought he was hot shit because he got your screen name so he figured he would try his luck and see if you were the type of girl he wanted. which is probably a one night stand. those are the guys to stay away from. those are also the guys that i beat up in high school :-D
