Ki Sense

Trunks can sense the ki, or life/fighting energy, of other beings. If you're a living, breathing, organic person? You have ki. Hell, in his 'verse, if you're a diety you have ki. A baseline human will usually register as a very weak presence to Trunks's senses. This increases with martial arts training and some powers. Ki has a distinct fingerprint, which varies from person to person, and becomes more detectable in a fight or other struggle. Therefore, Trunks can get a basic read on a person's status (mostly if they're at rest, fighting, training, etc) and location (general area, like 'way over that-a-way.') Those who are, for the sake of SP, completely immune to this:

• Androids, cyborgs (mostly machine)
  
• Anyone animated by magical means
  
• Spirits
  
• Dieties, beings like the Endless.
  
• ...Nobodies I could go either way on. Stupid complicated KH.
  

Otherwise, it's up to you. Can Trunks sense your Ki? This will not mean he can sense what abilities you have--this is just a sense of raw power. This is by no means representative of what your character can do. For instance, a wizard would likely come off as having low ki, but Trunks would not be able to sense their magical potential. He also cannot sense psychic gifts such as telekinesis and telepathy or anything of the ilk, mutations ala X-Men, Bending, Personas, etc. There's also the fact that it is possible to hide your ki. (Trunks, for his part, registers at a baseline human level when he's at-rest.) Also, reiatsu and chakra are about the same thing with another name.
