I say again, because some years ago I started reading them and stopped  during the Council of Elrond, or somewhere around there, because I thought the book was boring. So, now I want to try reading it again to see if, now that I'm older than the last time I tried to read the books, I can

Yay! I read them all a few years ago and I can totally see how the Council of Elrond could make someone want to stop reading. It was definitely the slowest part in all three books. But don't give up! It all gets better from there! :)

I won't give up, believe me. This time around I'm actually into the books. Maybe it's because my mind is more mature or developed now than back then, because my older sister told me she did the same exact thing I did/am doing. Intersting.
