Summary: Will Yuto’s last attempt be successful?
A/N: for valentines I guess?? Don’t kill me..this is my first time to make something like this. Please do tell me what you think.>.<
“This will be my last attempt.” Yuto said to Keito as he neared the place where he and Clarissa will meet.
“Are you sure? You’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time.” Keito answered scratching his not-so-itchy head.
“Eh…this nervousness is driving me crazy. I don’t want this. I might mess up in front of her again.”
“Oh come on. You’ve been rehearsing it in front of me zillion of times already. Don’t just give up because she rejected you when you were a child.”
“Easy for you to say.” The taller guy rolled his eyes followed by a deep breath. “This will definitely be my last attempt.” He said. He left his best friend and approached a lovely looking lady in baby blue dress, her long black hair in curls made her appearance more elegant. Yuto gulped. He doesn’t know what to say.
“Hello Yuto!” she said. Her angelic voice almost melted Yuto away. The latter gave a smile and asked her to dance. Keito’s effort did not go down the drain. Yuto danced waltz with her gracefully and without fault unlike the last time. But this isn’t the one Yuto practiced for the zillionth time. After the dance, the young drummer led the lovely lady to the garden just behind the Grand Hall where the occasion is being held.
“I had so much fun. You were a lot better than the last time.” She smiled and continued “You want to tell me something?”
Yuto began to panic as soon as he realized the lady is waiting for the response. He sweared Keito will kill him if he fail this time. And he promised this will be the last time. Keito made him memorize the way he wanted to confess to the girl he love for how many years. They wrote it down and made it a little bit poetic in manner to be more romantic. But Yuto can’t remember any of it right now. Any of the way he wanted to confess. All gone. “Forgive me Keito” he silently said.
But he made up his mind. He’s going to confess. It’s now or never. He held Clarissa’s hand. His face felt hot and he can feel his heart doing random jumping inside his chest as if attempting to come out of his body. He saw the other’s face turn crimson red too. “Clarissa…” he called out sweetly. “I love you.” He said right away without hesitation without second thinking. It just escaped from his mouth.
The girl smiled and looked directly into his eyes. “Perfect. Very well said. Exactly how I wanted it to be. - Straight forward. I love you too…Nakajima Yuto.”
Yuto smiled. His last attempt wasn’t a failure. He glanced at the clock it's already 12 midnight and he realized it's February 14.
